This App is very out of date and not user friendly. At login you are given the option to sign in using the fingerprint scanner, which has not been installed on most iPhones for years. The loading screen doesn’t even load properly when I sign in. Nothing is laid out in a user friendly manner. I have a very hard time interpreting any of the graphs or schematics because they’re not optimally formatted for iPhone. I previously used the Fidelity Net benefits app for my 401k with my old job, and it has been very difficult to go from an app with such a high level of functionality, to this app. Would not recommend this app if you are able to avoid it. Unfortunately my company uses Newport group, so I’m stuck.

I use this app to track investments so it’s not daily but more often than weekly. Every time I open the app lately it crashes out and I need to reinstall it. It works the first time and then crashes again. You’d think for the billions of $$ under management and the fees we pay they could provide an app that was reliable. Functionally and visually this is very windows 3.1 ish. I guarantee they don’t have CX staff working on this because they would quit. It’s 2026, this app should look like it. I work with 18 brokers and banks with brokerage and by far this is the worst UX. It’s sad.

I use quite a few financial apps to help manage my investments so I have very high expectations especially when I am forced to use a specific company for my 401k. This app only does the most basic function: it can show you the account balance and performance. It does not allow you to make changes to investments or even your contributions. In order to do this, you must log in through the website. I am very disappointed with it and plan to use other apps to track my 401k until this gets fixed. Once it’s fixed, I will update this review.

App is terribly bad but it’s the platform my company chose to manage our retirement. But good luck checking your balances or trying to make a transaction. The app crashes 99% of the time before log in so the exorbitant management fees they charge your retirement account doesn’t make its way to their IT Dept budget which shows they can care less about the customer experience. I guess their fiduciary duty doesn’t include access to your money & account info since it’s been this way for months now.
