I love that I can put my money in in advance, so I don’t have to have lots of little credit card charges all in one day. I especially like that it notifies me when the cycle is over so my clothes aren’t sitting in the machine, causing inconvenience for the next person. I also like that it tells me if the machine is available or not so I don’t have to walk down to the laundry room to find out. All in all this is a great advancement over anything else that came before it, like nothing!

The biggest annoyance is having to re-enter payment information (no way to link a card to the app) every time you add more funds.The rest of the issues I’ve faced are mainly connectivity between the app and washer and dryer having false starts when I’ve paid and you have to wait for it to realize something went wrong and allow you to process the payment again to the same machine, or it not showing the machines you’ve started as busy which also can cause issues if you’re waiting for availability and it says available but it’s still in use by others. But overall I’d recommend using the app over using debit or credit or putting money on a card. Since you can see your funds etc more easily - but there’s no way to submit details if you mark a machine for repair aside from email and the response time seems pretty lackluster, thankfully I’m in a building with over 40+ washers and dryers, so I can usually use a different one. But there’s a lot of basic things CYCLEPAY could do better.

It’s the day after Christmas. I have 5 loads of laundry to doAnd only today to do them before a straight six day work week. I loaded up the five added money ran all five One machine took my money and never ran. Came back saw that it didn’t wash four loads of laundry and four dryers tried to load money on my app my card declined. I have plenty of money in my account. I use my credit card load money. The dryers did not dry the clothes all the way which is not the ups fault, but I need to add more money so I could rental for dryers and put the wet laundry in with the damp laundry. Wouldn’t do you know my credit card declined for no reason. Now I have wet laundry and no way to load my app. Started a new account. Cards still declining. Now I’m stuck with four loads of damp laundry and one load of wet laundry. Thanks cycle pay it’s really awesome of you not to have a contact button or a way to contact you at all. We do avoid accountability

Keep getting a message that the option to load money isn’t available right now. I’ve tried with my WiFi and without it, doesn’t matter. Overcharged me 3x when I used my credit card. Very overpriced anyway. No option on the washers to select a smaller load. Very inconvenient, will have to go to the laundromat instead. I think the positive reviews are from friends and family.Update: washers and dryers are all marked $3 but the machines will charge $3.25 or $3.50 depending on the size of the load, that should be clearly marked. Dryers are crap and I usually have to run a regular sized load through twice in order for it to completely dry. $6.50 to dry one load is ridiculous. Pro tip: do not put your laundry detergent into the machine until after it’s actually running. These machines are unreliable to connect to your app. Can we bring back quarter machines? At least they always worked.
