5 The Debit Card Overdraft Service is an optional service made available to eligible DEEPBLUE™ Debit customers by Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC. Once you enroll and meet the eligibility requirements, you will be charged $20.00 for each transaction that overdraws your account by more than $10.00, up to a maximum of five (5) fees per calendar month. To avoid that fee, you have twenty-four (24) hours from the time of the first transaction that creates the overdraft to bring your account back to a zero ($0.00) or a positive balance. Transactions subject to an overdraft fee are one-time PIN and signature based purchase transactions and ATM withdrawals. Other transactions including ACH Debit transactions are not eligible for coverage. Any negative balance must be repaid within thirty (30) days. Whether we authorize an overdraft is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically will not pay overdrafts if you fail to meet the eligibility requirements for this service or you attempt too many transactions or transactions that create too large of an overdraft. Call us at 1-833-954-1605 or log in to your Online Account Center for additional terms and conditions that apply, including initial and ongoing eligibility requirements for the service. This service is expensive, so we encourage you to research alternatives before enrolling. Once enrolled, you may opt-out at any time; however, you are responsible to repay any overdrawn amounts on your account even if you opt-out of the service.

Terrible

I had to get this card because my bank would not let liberty tax direct deposit my federal tax refund and it’s still ran slow at the beginning now the app won’t let me log in at all if it wasn’t for the text message updates every time my card is used I would not know the balance because guess what the phone number on the back of the card doesn’t work now either it makes an awful noise as soon as you call. this needs fix ASAP

!!!BEWARE!!! DO NOT GET THIS CARD!!!

I had to get this card, Liberty Tax could not load to my Federal Income Tax check to my bank account, noticed I had charges in another city, my card was used!!! At the store with my card Information!!!!! Over $300 dollars charged. Called immediately to dispute and was told “We cannot cancel those transactions, that we could not do anything for this at all, You need to call the merchants and have them cancel the transactions. That we cannot cancel the transactions at all.” Called the Merchant and they told me to have the Financial Institution (Deep Blue) cancel those transactions immediately. I assured him that I did try and I told him what they told me. He looked up and saw that the card was used in store, I live in Lytle Tx, was in San Antonio at the time of the purchases that were made in the Houston area, at 3 stores that are all the same. He said that they would look into it further but to contact my Financial Institution and have them cancel the transactions. The Store Manager was in disbelief, I told him I was too! LONG STORY SHORT- THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT CANCEL TRANSACTIONS THAT YOU DID NOT MAKE AND WILL NOT REIMBURSE YOU AT ALL, WITHDREW ALL OF MY MONEY!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!! BEWARE!!!!

BAIT AND SWITCH

Why can’t I see my transactions? Because SOMETHING WENT WRONG! Every time I try to login, I get the error message. This app is horrible. It keeps sending me emails about opening a savings account except I can’t even access my checking for a month! Luckily I have text alerts on otherwise I’d never know if my card is being charged. I do not recommend this app. The original Netspend app works just fine but for some reason I’m unable to see my own money. Frustrating and annoying. Needs to be fixed. I’ll be removing my money from the account and going with a different service.
