You can also connect with your employer or university to receive vital information during critical activities or while managing incidents. Your organization may also allow you to view your schedule or create your own alert to send an SOS when you need assistance.

With full control over privacy settings, you decide what information is shared and when, including your location, images and videos. This information will not be shared outside of Everbridge or the organization with which you have purposefully connected.

This app is extremely frustrating to navigate. I’ve already had to delete it and start over and it’s still squirrelly.
Deleting messages needs a one-swipe motion.
All of a sudden I’m getting phone calls from Civil Defense instead of texts! There is no easy path to change that preference.
Very repetitive modes of delivery: email, text and phone call. I don’t need that.
This app needs a quick fix. Right now it’s a one star wonder.
I want my Nixle back but Everbridge has taken over Nixle. I’ve sent an email to the support folks. Hope they can help.
**** I finally called my local Civil Defense and they told me how to fix the issues. I also received an email response from the app support folks.
The first time I signed up I didn’t find the option to create a profile and use settings. The second time I signed up I did. I still hope they streamline this app a bit****

Hello - It sounds like you may have selected multiple delivery methods when registering your account with the organization. You can edit your profile and manage your delivery methods right from the mobile app. To edit your account follow these simple instructions.

- Open the mobile app
- Select your profile
- Select 'Manage My Profile'
- Click the 'Edit' button next to 'My Profile'
- Scroll down to 'Here's how to contact me' and enter or remove a value for those methods of contact you wish.

Great Idea, Poor Execution

This was originally recommended as an emergency warning system. It has my location (exact address). It has a loud warning signal when a message is sent. All good so far. In the approximately 3 years that I’ve had it I’ve received several alerts that didn’t pertain to me. I received an immediate evacuation alert at 2am that was a mistake, fortunately my wife called to verify the accuracy of the alert.
Now, along with emergency alerts I have started getting warnings. Last night I was woken at 10:20pm with a warning that rain was detected and could result in a debris flow. Then at 10:50pm I was awoken agin to receive the same warning in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish. It wasn’t even rainy at the time that I received this “emergency” warning. This possible debris flow had been discussed on the local news for two days thus I didn’t need to be woken twice on a week night with this information. I don’t understand why they can’t send the warning in English and Spanish at the same time.
I will be cancelling this service and don’t recommend it.

Helpful but

The way to delete messages is cumbersome. It would better to allow deletion by swiping a message or messages instead of having to leave the Feed page, choosing Select and Delete, returning to the Feed and having to individually select messages.
