Actually the best application made for iPhone in the past decade

Haven’t the apps all gotten so boring? You see a developer realize a good feature has been implemented and, like clockwork, hide it behind a pointless paywall. You see an algorithm develop to no longer deliver you information effectively, but instead just make you angry.
This app has avoided all of that. I hope it can sustain that for the future. The promise of extending your phones capabilities with applications has been weakened in the years since it was made, but this app reignites that dream

Wow. Simply as advertised 🥹

Edit: Still love the app but the larger widget keeps breaking and to refresh it I need to make it a small one and then a bug one again.

One thing I would love to see change is the ability to reduce the text size of the widget so I can see many more articles at once other than two or three at a time. Or the ability to scroll articles on the widget itself.

Other than that: This app is wonderful! It does exactly as advertised and is beautiful and free at the same time. I really admire developers who aren’t shady when making “free” apps with hidden ads when claimed to be “ad free” and “premium” feature walls.

The alternative to doom scrolling we all need

This app does exactly what it states: it lets you curate a custom feed of content to read tailored to your own preferences without targeted marketing and clickbait affecting what i read and think about. I have been looking for something like this for months. One particularly nice feature is its ability to give you a diversity of stories as you scroll, rather than just a chronological list that might just dump 12 articles from the same rss feed. And i love being able to read reddit threads as part of my overall feed.

Another very subtle and nice touch is that it serves the “old” reddit view when you click on a reddit comments link.

The reader view works well, as do all the customisation options and variations.

The app feels snappy, quick, intuitive, and native on ios.

Very excited to have found this, thanks!
