Employee Self Service (ESS) is part of the Tyler Technologies Munis product. If your employer runs Munis, then this app is for you! Employee Self Service Mobile is an app for your phone to access the features of the ESS Website anywhere, anytime. You can view Time Off, Personal Info, Pay/Tax info, and Benefits. You can make Time-Off requests and edit your Personal Info. Supervisors can Approve employee time-off requests and view more information. Munis ESS Mobile is compatible with Munis versions 11.1 and newer.

Security and Privacy Issues

I was assured this app would work as well as the previous in house system. I am first concerned that the security of my personal information is being further exposed on line. This appears to be ripe for hackers and thieves and has, I believe, increased my personal information for Identity theft and fraud. Secondly, as I was required to do, I downloaded the app and the app isn’t allowing me access. I am not pleased that a government entity would take this route.

My employer had us switch to this system for convenience and there are a lot of good things about it overall, but then trying to take leave and entering your time from home it won’t let you scroll down to input it from your phone. I broke down and downloaded the app rather than using a work computer and there doesn’t seem to even be a function for inputting time on there.

I am required to have this by my employer because they are going paperless. We are supposed to see our Check stubs, W-2, etc., but the app won’t let me login with the information provided by my employer. Having to add another app that I don’t really want is annoying enough, but not being able to login is just too much. It now crashes constantly & when I try to look up my pay records, it says I have none.

All you web illiterate people having login issues need to shorten your web munis web address! Delete everything that redirects after successful login.... Your login address should look like this...or similar.https://webmunis.(Your Gov website).org/ESS/loginStill can't use touch ID to get into app though.
