Getting everything on one page makes it easier, I also find that changing a setting it doesn’t pop back in 10 seconds as much as it used to. Now I understand they don’t want to have timers because you don’t want it turning on with no one home, although that should be our option… But how about having a timer when it turns off? How many times have we gone to bed and forgot to turn it back it is how we heat our house it shouldn’t be that hard just to tell be able to turn it off at 10 PM, with no safety issues.

Last Update…hopefully:) I have changed the rating to 5 stars, because as promised Garrett came to our house and updated the software and as promised it seems to have fixed the problem. If you are having connectivity problems please contact them - they can and will fix it! Thank you Garrett for taking the time and initiative to solve our connectivity problems. Granted it is spring and we’re not really using the fireplace, but I check the app every so often and it’s still connected!Update: After leaving a one star review Garrett from IntelliFire reached out to me and has been helping resolve the issues with the app. He is coming out next week to update the unit’s software and he’s confident this will fix the issues we’ve had. I will update this review after he 🤞 ‘fixes’ it. Garrett has been great and truly wants to ensure that the app works - so he gets 5 ⭐️s Don’t waste your $ until they fix it! It will keep on dropping so you have to keep on deleting it and adding it. Come on and fix the app already. Should have listened to installer and not purchased it

I've had the system for 2+ years. I've submitted multiple reviews, all 1-stars. 2 years later the app is still trash. No new features, still 2010 style technology.For a good 6-8 months the WiFi connection was lost and wouldn't reconnect. Heck I'm not even a real programmer and I've built apps that work better than this...given the amount of open source programming libraries that exist, it's a huge letdown that this app still hasn't been updated in over 2 years.Not only that the heat&glo appliance is also clunky and bad. It vibrates and makes noise, the fan is super loud. It's essentially a metal resonating box for sound... Ant to top it all off...the companies DON'T have customer service support. There website specifically says "contact your local dealer for support." Well... my local deal (and probably yours) charges for customer service.Out of all the purchases I made for my house, this is by far the worst. Given the hefty price tag I'm thoroughly disappointed... If you are thinking about purchasing one, I'd highly recommend you don't. If you just purchased one, please ask your dealer if you can return it and choose a different brand.P.S. why the heck isn't it Apple HomeKit compatible?!?!? Utter embarrassment...P.p.s. I have to keep writing reviews because my old ones seem to magically disappear...🤔🤔🤔

After reaching out to tech support via email, Garrett responded and he helped me troubleshoot the problem. He quickly offered me help and two options to rectify the problem. I chose to replace the ECM which Garrett sent to me. It took about 5 minutes to swap out the ECM which as of now is still working as expected. No more disconnect problems. Thank you Garrett. *****Same problem as others have noted. After reset of module, the app will control the fireplace, then will just stop working a day or two later. Requires a complete reset to work again. I even setup a dedicated ssid for just this module and still no love. Troubleshooting tips posted somewhere would be appreciated.
