No better than previous app version
New app uses over 80 memory, the previous app used about 10.
New app doesn’t allow you to save/mark items as favorites for quick ordering; when you click to view the menu it opens the safari/internet app instead of staying in its own app; and doesn’t allow you to save/mark more than one location as a favorite/frequented spot.
Really, don’t know why they needed to create a whole new app, and definitely don’t know why it takes up so much data.
Went to their website to view menu. Clicked an item for detailed information, but instead of bringing up details, it acted as if I said I wanted to place an order. When I clicked the “contact us” to report website error, they do not have contact information for corporate. It actually doesn’t have any contact info; it only says to check back soon if your location isn’t listed on the site, how to search locations on the site, and to contact the specific location for order assistance (which doesn’t help the hearing impaired.) Pretty sure legally, companies have to provide at least one way to contact them, and it has to be easy to locate.
I NEVER leave reviews. Congratulations, you’ve done so poorly across the board that I feel compelled to write. It’s mind boggling how poor this is. Clearly there was no one testing anything. Here’s my guess... Some development team lied about how easy this would be to improve. They didn’t know what they were doing, and tried to over-engineer it with stuff no one wanted. Time dragged on, and some executive demanded that this go live by X random date, no matter what, only because they promised some other higher-up exec it would go live by then, and it’s better to light the world on fire instead of admit a mistake. Developers, designers, UX folks, project managers were put through the grinder to get this out, so the moron execs could check a box. They released an app you can’t even sign in to. Horrendous. Nothing works. Several people should be fired, starting with the out of touch exec who hired the dev team, anyone who bypassed QA and decided to go live as is, and any exec pushing for a false random go live date. Scrap this and start all over, and don’t blame your worker bees. Try listening to them instead! Godspeed, innocent folks in the production of this disaster!
Real unhappy with the new app and transition to it. And frankly I’m thinking it’s the corporation more than the app. Not sure what was wrong with the old one. I thought viewing the menu was easier. You could see the menu’s (ie pictures and names of the items) and scroll through them. Now you have to know what category you’re looking for or open and close each one-cumbersome if you’re not familiar with the menu or are looking for something different.
**More importantly, my biggest complaint is there is no longer any customer service!! In the past I could call and speak with, what used to be, a very friendly, helpful human. Can’t do that anymore. I guess corporate has been too successful to worry about customer service anymore. So if the issue doesn’t fit into one of the predesignated categories you are out of luck.
In my case an email change has prevented all of my previously accrued points from being transferred to my new app and I can’t get anyone to help me get them back! When I request help through the only channel provided me, I get a canned “gee we’re sorry, were working on it” reply.
