Hello. I cancelled all of my subscriptions long ago, and I never made one for this app (I never participated further because of the subscription cost: can’t afford it while changing my careers). Due to an update I received both, with Apple and your product, I was somehow subscribed; and I cancelled Immediately, when I received notification that my account was charged. I currently unemployed, waiting for the hiring freeze to be lifted. I have a family; I would greatly appreciate it if you returned my funds, please. Thank you.

Loving some of the results

I have hoped for an app like this for a long time. It does really well in some cases, but falls short in some things that I wish they’d remedy.1. The app doesn’t interpret multi-measure rests. Results show these are simply replaced with one bar of rest.2. Alto clef is not handled correctly in all cases (eg cue notes).3. Sometimes playback doesn’t match scanned results. For example, I scanned a solo guitar piece in B minor and when I played it back it gave me D sharps.4. In the case of scanning a piano part or something with more staves with intent to export results to musicXML, after a lengthy scan I have to choose only one of the staves to play or save. And I can’t return to already scanned results and save or play the next stave — I have to RESCAN the entire piece for each stave I want to save. I should be able to select all scanned staves and play all selected and save all selected. And in the latter I should be able to choose whether staves are saved as a score in musicXML or midi, or as individual files. This could be an excellent tool for those of us who use music notation software such as Finale for saving time not having to enter music from scratch, just needs to improve a little more.At 10-15 minutes a scan of a four-stave quartet, I find it frustrating having the app redo the scan every time I want to save or play a stave or play or save the score — which it has already figured out. I don’t understand the limitation. On the flip side, the app no longer crashes as much as it did when I first started using it. And importing violin parts (except viola) for a Vivaldi piece, with 32nd note runs all over the place, came through like a champ.

Works Well!

I found this through AppAdvice. This is an amazing idea and it works much better than I expected!aIdeas:— I would like to see support for screenshots too. Lots of people play from their iPhones and iPads in addition to hard copies of sheet music.-— I wish it had an option for visuals representations of what’s being played on a piano when a person is having trouble working it out by ear. — I’d also love to see support for guitar tablature! I’d personally prefer an all in one app that can do both, but this would be super useful even as its own app. — It would also be super helpful if this app could transcribe screenshots from piano/guitar learning apps like Yousician (piano/guitar) or Ultimate Guitar’s Tabs and convert their gamified versions and bad looking versions into real sheet music and tabs that can be easily read and followed. For what it does, it’s an amazing app and I hope to see the above added in the future!
A very expensive lifesaver

I used to do marching band shows for drumline and I was kind of trash at drums. I was at a deep end when I found this app and got everything down in only a week. It’s great for practicing and is the Gauth AI of music. My only problem is the price. This is the kind of app that should be free, and topped with all the things I had to still pay for as a senior in the band, was pretty expensive. It would literally be perfect if it were free. Alas, I can’t do anything because the app has to make money, right?
Our main focus with this release is on improving our Export features:
Export now factors in edits to note transposition and mixer selections
New export filetype: MuseScore MSCZ
