I would like to thank the entire staff and Management for working on this Holiday. I’m sorry you weren’t able to be at home celebrating with your families. I worked many holidays throughout the years and it seems you’re never thanked for your sacrifice.Even though it was extremely busy at your establishment today, I found everything ran very smoothly. The food was at its finest as always.I’d like to especially thank Katie. I was blessed to be seated in her section. I am disabled and lost both my sisters earlier this year. This was my first major Holiday without having any family left. Of course she didn’t know any of this but she provided me with possibly the best service I’ve ever had. She has superb customer service skills. I spent my career as a Supervisor in the Airline Industry where exceptional customer service skills are a must. I would have hired her in a hot minute! worst GC experience ever
Showed up this morning for breakfast there was 11 in our party, ranging from age 2-89. Before everyone arrived we went in to ask about seating. Was told there was plenty of room in the party room. So when we all arrived we went in and straight to the party room, where there were plenty of small tables so we picked three next to each other. At that point some started getting food, others 89 yo, we’re getting seated and so forth. I was getting food and another member of my party said they run us out of the party room because it was already reserved ( no signs on any table and the so called party that had those table “reserved”never showed). How embarrassing!!!!Ended up some of our party went to the other side of the restaurant and some moved just outside of the party room. So half of us were on one side of the restaurant and half on the other! I mentioned to the waitress that I was upset that we were kicked out of the party room and now we’re on opposite sides of the restaurant. She apologized and ask if I would like to speak to a manager. And I said yes! Well that just turned into a yelling match in the middle of the restaurant because the manager just wanted to give me excuses and argue with me other than try to resolve the issue! We literally had to tell her to shut up and go on!! This was suppose to be the start of a weekly thing! I’m hope this review falls on some ears that care!!!

I’m going to start with me and my daughter love too eat there, I’ve always had a great experience until I spoke with the general manager named Art at the south loop 289 location in Lubbock Texas. I’ve been in management since 2008 so I have PLENTY OF EXPERIENCE. Never once have I EVER seen a manager, GM especially ask a guest if they have a eating disorder. I’m about 90lbs and if I can’t finish 1 ONE PLATE after paying $20 for the buffet and can’t take the rest home and charge me more $ to take it home after already paying for 1 plate at the buffet is ridiculous. Especially when you let them know up front to have the general manager ask me if I have a note from a dr if I had an eating disorder. I’m sorry but I’m furious and going to meet with a lawyer tomorrow. How liable would you be if something had happened to me after? If I wasn’t responding and they found me dead because of an eating disorder, oh I can’t wait to meet with the lawyers all over a BUFFET and a greedy general manager. I had to go one last time for a survey receipt because of course, why would he have left me a receipt when he clearly understood I was upset. So I’m not sure how you choose your gm’s but if standards are this low I will never return and definitely spread the news wherever I can

Some of the nicest people I have met anywhere. I eat out just about every meal every week and three or four of them meals are at Golden corral on 66 in Sevierville. Very professional group of people. Although everyone was very courteous and polite and professional Holly the general manager stood out to me the most, very helpful, very courteous, polite, Very professional I have not been anywhere that the general manager is on the floor as much as Holly, if she wasn’t pushing someone across the floor in a wheelchair to their table or helping someone with a walker to their table helping them get their food greeting people sweeping up food out of the floor this young lady never stops. This company is very blessed to have exceptional employee like Holly. I look forward to eating many many meals at this restaurant the atmosphere the employees the service puts me in mind of Chick-fil-A Jeffery Adams (Happy customer)
