Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews 12+

Yelp is a great platform and I have been enjoying it for sometime now. I have found myself using it to search for new restaurants and menu options, the easy of use and photographs just makes it an excellent app. I am not sure if they can do anything about removing fake reviews and such, but other than that I think it’s an absolutely fabulous tool.

The information about the restaurant or business is upfront and clear. Makes it easy for me to call a restaurant if I want… I just love it and find myself using it regularly. No complaints other than the fact that not all reviews are always posted-yelp seems to have an algorithm maybe…Idk, still pretty awesome.

I think they should add a button where people (customers) can report a fake review. Some people write things on yelp businesses that are not even true. I am sure it’s not easy for them to monitor such a large volume of posts.

BEWARE!!! I purchased an electric bike from this company a year ago and the battery caught on fire the first time I tried to charge it. I have argued with them for a year now to get a replacement. All I get is delays, excuses, everything except the replacement part which is very clearly promised in their warranty program…I am not certain if this is an executive directive or if the customer service/support department is just completely stupid, defensive, or unaware of the risk that they are taking with their customer’s safety and the future of their company.. regardless, they are not providing a service which they have taken money for and failed to follow through on replacing faulty products. The negative outcomes are that the bike I paid for is unusable, and I have been put at risk for personal injury or a structural fire in my home caused by a faulty product that they shipped to me. Generally I consider those to be pretty important, it seems that the customer service department doesn’t agree with me..so I am put in the position of identifying their failures on the warranty level and personal safety level and on the financial level for taking my money without giving me a working product, which generally I perceive to be described as fraud. I have been quite patient and tolerant to this point, and have given the company fair warning that I would expose their policies and actions, or lack of, and the risk to the public associated with their products..
