LOVE IT!!!! but....

I love love chipotle and the work and freshness they put into their food! I am a huge fan of the Honey Vinaigrette dressing they have for their salads, so much that it’s a must have for everything I get there - burritos, pour it on, tacos, pour it on, burrito bowl, LOAD IT ON, I get it every single time. It is quite frustrating though how I am only given the option to include the dressing ONLY if I order the salad on the app. When I’m ordering off the app for delivery, I have no way to choose the salad dressing on the side if i’m ordering something other than the salad. It’s not included in the sides tab and there is no ‘special instructions’ area for me to mention it in. This leaves me to call the Chipotle location I order from and ask them to include it in my order, which I have no problem doing.. until I get my order and they forgot the dressing a majority of the time. Again, I love the dressing, as much as some people LOVE guacamole in their orders, so when I don’t get the dressing it’s quite disappointing eating my meal without the yummy flavor that makes it so much more! If in the next update there was somewhere to include this, I would order from you guys everyday of my life... as if I don’t already!!!

Review intended for chipotle U/X

This is for chipotle u/x app developers. I am not a normal chipotle customer without the app. - I hate standing in line and having to build my order ingredient by ingredient. I downloaded the app because there is a store near my house and if I come home late I can use this to have food ready for me when I get home. So I saw that because I used the app enough I got a “free chips and guac” coupon. Great - I tried to add it to my order but I kept getting an error message. Being a lawyer I read the small print and I was ordering over $10 worth of food without the coupon but I kept getting an error message. Finally, the Coupon was 1 day away from expiration so instead of “grabbing and going” I asked an employee why it wouldn’t work. She said I had to buy $5 worth of food in line for it to work. I pointed to the $11 of food in my bag and said “I use this app because I don’t want to stand in line. So this coupon is worthless to me?” She got flustered and called over her manager and he gave me the free food right away. However he didn’t tell me if this was a customer accommodation or if I had used the app incorrectly so I am still in the dark about that and i didn’t love having an awkward conversation about getting free stuff when I would be happy to pay for it if I wanted it... I’m not a coupon clipper. So this “reward” was really a hassle for me and didn’t end up making me want to eat at chipotle or use its app more than I did previously.

the app itself is pretty cool but chipotle do better.

we ordered off of this app only to realize 30
Minutes later our order had been canceled... no notification or explanation as to why. I had to click on the “where is my food?” Option to see (since it hadn’t came even past the estimated time!) where it was at. When we investigated further we saw that the app had charged the money anyway?!? Like what? If the order was canceled, refund the money. We then called up the chipotle we ordered from and they told us, a door dash employee had came to pick up the order but the chipotle location said they didn’t receive it...🤔hmm. How could that be, if the door dash employee received it & went to that chipotle to pick it up... how could they not have received it? If Chipotle is the one billing us.. how could they not have received it? come to find out they did have it in their system. They were just lazy and didn’t want to take the time to search for our order or make it. We ourselves had to leave the house to pick up the food/ get out money back. all in all Chipotle make sure your employees don’t try to scam people and act as if it’s all door dashes fault when in reality, they are at fault. Period.
