Should Get Better Delivery Drivers and the Circulation Manager Should be Fured

I thought I would give them one last try, reinstated my subscription and ask that the paper be put on my porch. No paper was delivered for 3 days. Call in my complaint, and the issue was not resolved. No paper. Called to cancel, and was promised a full refund. No refund. To staff members of LSJ, you maybe losing your job because a delivery driver can not follow directions and a circulation manager who doesn’t give a crap.

I see someone had complained about the app when trying to zoom an article, and the response was that it had been fixed. We’ll, guess what…it has NOT been fixed. The paper is hard to read near the edges of the screen, because the arrows to move to the next page are blocking parts of the article when zoomed in. The screen bounces back to the smaller print when trying to move the article around to read the entire thing. I believe the older version of the app allowed a reader to zoom to any degree. This one doesn’t allow this.I assume you’ve heard the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Well, the old version was a million times better than this new one. I recommend you take it back to the previous version.Also, I would like to be able to access my account from the app, and I can’t do that.Thinking of not renewing my subscription.
Update to e-Newspaper is AWFUL

There is so much wrong with the update, it’s hard to know where to start. It’s extremely hard to read now (super small font), it crashes randomly, it can’t be used in landscape orientation, there is a content-blocking bar across the top of the USA Today pages, there are now full-screen-blackening ads that come up during the reading of the paper that must be waited on and finally “X’d” out in order to continue reading, and those are only to name a few. Regarding the ads that black out the screen: we PAY for the subscription and the newspaper itself is full of ads, why are we interrupted now to see an ad??? The LSJ Print Edition app is gone and this is the only one available now. We can only hope that LSJ will go back to the app as it was because this newest app is horrible.

50 year Faithful Reader
I’ve subscribed to and read LSJ every day since I moved to the greater Lansing area in June 1974 (nearly 51 years!), so I’ve been through a few changes with the paper. I’ve gone from paying $.50/week to a carrier, to automatically paying for a year in advance. No problems!However, the brand new LSJ app will not let me rotate individual comics in order to read them one full comic at a time. (The old app allowed this rotation seamlessly.) PLEASE fix this bug in the new app! Not everyone, regardless of age, has 20/20 vision. Thank you!Debbie Warnaar
