We have had the oven and app for about 2.5 years now. When I first installed and set it up, it kind of worked. I was able to see my oven's status via the app. The remote start feature worked, but with the major drawback that you needed to manually enable it via the oven front panel controls (not via the app) each and every time you wanted to use it. Opening the oven door disables this feature.
For some strange reason, the push notifications only tell you when the temperature of the oven is changed; not when it is turned on or when it reaches temperature or any of the other items you specifically switch on in the settings. The latest release is from April of this year. You’d figure they could have fixed this basic of a bug by now.
To top it all off, the app has now become completely useless. Maybe this because I recently upgraded my iPhone from a 6 to a 7 and had to reinstall the app? The oven shows as offline in the app but as online on the oven itself.
I have tried disabling the ovens WiFi and reconnecting; reinstalling the app; trying to add the oven to my app again using SAID and MAC numbers (get notice that oven is already associated with my account); having both devices on the same and separate WiFi routers. Nothing works and am now mad that I have wasted so much time and money (oven was not cheap) on this thing.

This is what I own from Jenn-Air: 3 Ovens, 1 Range, 3 Dishwashers, 2 Refrigerators, 2 Microwaves, 3 warming drawers and 2 Ice Maker’s. I have had only 2 Problems in my 15 year marriage with the Jenn-Air. Whirlpool’s corporate decision to not care about their 2007 clients like me who spent nearly $10,000 on their refrigerator by stopping to produce replacement parts 2 years after and this app. If your listening, your products are awesome. What you did to me with the refrigerator was unforgivable but I forgave you and bought 2 new dishwashers this weekend. My advice is Don’t release software until its bullet proof and matches your products quality. My request is.... if you have any plastic freezer bins laying around for a 2007 pro style fridge, let me know.

Terrible app and connected fridge!!
I have owned my Jenn-Air connected fridge for almost two years and called in to connected support at least 8 times without being able to connect my fridge. I’m a sales associate at an appliance dealer and cannot in good faith recommend these products if a customer is interested in using the connected features. I have the JFFCC72EFS00 fridge and cannot get it to connect. Today I logged into the app to give it another shot and when I click the add appliance button the app crashes! This is unacceptable for a fridge that costs over $4000! Stay away!
