Delete and reinstall over and over

When I first got this camera system I was over the moon, that I could see it on my monitor and also on my phone. But then I started having issues with it almost every day. The system is supposed to restart once a week at a certain time however mine seems to reboot itself three or four times a week at random times which is starting to really get on my nerves. The app I thought, was great… At first. I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app about 10 times since I’ve had it, which was October 2020. It keeps locking up and telling me that it can’t authenticate my information… Either being my fingerprint ID, or my passcode. This is very very annoying and I don’t know why it keeps happening. So, since I can never get a hold of night owl support I deleted the app and reinstalled it and now it works… For a week or so and then I get the same error. I wish this app was more reliable and the system itself would work properly. One of my cameras also goes black, sometimes for several minutes at a time and I have no idea why. I thought with all the great system reviews I would be happy, maybe I just got a lemon??

App needs improvement

The security system itself is great. The app needs quite a bit of help. Definitely need sound option with push notifications!!!!!! Also it would be nice to have a share option for event playbacks. It would be really nice also to have a “sleep” or “pause” option - if I’m spending a day around the house I don’t need to be notified when I walk past my camera 20 times an hour. Please update the app soon!

Issues with App & Cameras

I have had my cameras for a 4 1/2 months, everything was fine until a few weeks ago, I noticed my system rebooting more than usual. Then out of nowhere I started to get a green hue on all my cameras which until this day I could never figure out why. Then my app began giving me issues shortly after and I contacted customer support. I was having issues, my device would not showing up on my app. Customer service fixed the issue after I had been on the online chat with them for over an hour. Everything got resolved. A week goes by and now I’m having the same issues again. I contacted customer support again and was being helped but in the middle of troubleshooting i was sent to another online chat and was put back on the queue to wait for someone to help me!! This is so frustrating! I
Eventually gave up and looking for a new security system! $700 down the drain!
