You can use the app as part of the “Key to NYC Pass” initiative to provide proof of vaccination.

Many New York City employers, businesses, and venues are requiring verification of immunization or weekly proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test for their workforce and patrons.

Use this app to store and present the necessary documentation to verify that you have met these requirements.  You can also use the app as part of the “Key to NYC Pass” initiative to provide proof of vaccination.

The documentation you upload into this app is not shared with anyone and stays on your phone only.

Great that it exists but seems limited value

I love that this exists but I can get the same functionality out of my phones “photos” app. I would prefer that there is some kind of verification or review of the CDC card. Also the date of final vaccinations start December 14 and as a part of clinical trials there are a few thousand people in nyc(including me) that had their final doses as early as August 2020.

Easy way to carry your proof!

The app furnishes a digital record of your proof of identity and Covid Vaccination Card. You take pictures of your government issued ID (drivers license or passport, etc.), upload it; and then your CDC Vaccine Card. You can also store a copy of a Covid test if you need to.
I wish it supported the iPhone wallet, but this is great for anyone who has a problem getting their Excelsior Pass, or was vaccinated outside NYC.
While I have heard many tales of forged vaccine cards, sadly this is not capable of guaranteeing a card is not a forgery by linking to the vaccine registry. However, I don’t see how this is different from anyone presenting a forged card, because there is no way of verifying the paper card is real, and not forged!

There is ZERO point to having this app. All it does is let you add a photo of your vaccine card or recent test. There’s no verification, making this a glorified version of the photos app on your phone. Just save the pic to your favorites so you can find it easily and be done with it. I only bumped it from one star to two stars because the pointless feature actually worked.
