No customer service on Saturday
What a fun experience!!! I would love to give them a ZERO star rating!!!
Wasted 1 hour on a Saturday morning trying to buy a ticket!!!
Whether my iPad or mobile phone I was unable to complete my purchase. Despite having my card type listed before submitting I kept getting an error, went back and re-added and then having their system freeze and not be able to complete.
Can email customer service but due to high volume they have 48-72 hours to respond
So you call their well hidden customer service number and go thru voice response system. Found out they have a sales line. Hung up and called that instead only to spend pointless minutes as they are closed on Saturday’s. Ticketmaster is so poor they can’t put that info on their site or at the FRONT END of their VRS??? Saving me valuable time for an event that starts in a few hours?
Went back to help number. Spent even more time going thru that only to AGAIN find out those people don’t work Saturdays either. Good to know the largest ticket broker for games And concerts that primarily take place on the weekends don’t staff to help customers on the weekends.
Only way I could get my TranSanction to go Thur is to download their app and save my CC info to their system. So that should get stolen any minute now. I look forward to rarely doing business with them in the future!!!!!!!!!!
Bugs, incorrect info, errors
They don’t seem to care to show accurate information. When selling, it shows the face value of the ticket incorrectly. Then they force you to price it relative to the incorrect information. Then even if you do enter a value in the range they give it just comes up with an error message asking if you want to try again?. You can try again 100 times but it will not do what they say it will do. There are good things about the app but I will leave it at one star until they fix the bugs and provide simple honest numbers. These are the good things: the app has a map view when purchasing. This allows you to see the exact position of the seat instead of a vague location like the competitor. If you purchased on Ticketmaster it is much easier to sell a ticket here if you decide to change seats. The bad news on that is Ticketmaster will compete against you on this app and make you sell the ticket for more than they are selling seats. They cannot say this is to control scalpers because to control scalpers you would deal with people who buy a lot of seats and sold a lot of seats. If somebody buys then sells two seats in an entire year, they are just changing plans. It should not be punished so that the company that already collected $200 in fees can get $30 more. I wish they would merge back into Live Nation and make one good application instead of two so so applications. This company should be able to make a lot of money without having a bad interface.
Have been ordering tickets for years and then one day I want to get tickets for a huge event the day they go on sale and Ticketmaster blocked me. They said they were unable to complete my request from this device with zero explanation as to why and merely suggested signing into my account when I was already signed in or to use a different device. Now I missed out on good seats because the tickets are already down to nothing but nosebleed sections. I work in tech support for cellular devices; this was not an isolated software or user error issue. The app is up to date, I cleared browsing data & cookies, I tried from both app & browser. Another time, I bought tickets to see Clutch that were supposed to include a free copy of their latest album. Logged into my app before the event and the tickets weren’t showing. Tickets for other events were there, but not the Clutch ticket I ordered. Installed the app on another device with the same account and there they were but I didn’t want to have to bring two phones with me, so I transferred the ticket to myself to get it to show in the app on my regular phone. Apparently, transferring the ticket to MYSELF disqualified me from getting the free album promo. You can only chat with support if your order details show in the app, so if you are having trouble placing an order, too bad.
