Thank you for using the UPMC Member App!
In this update, we've expanded app access to even more members. CHIP Heads of Household, Dental/Vision only, Dental only, Vision only, and HSA/FSA only members can now use the app without being redirected to the UPMC Health Plan Member Site after logging in. We've also introduced an in-app feedback feature, so you can easily share your experience with us.

Please fix…. App has been fixed.

Thank you for fixing this. Ordering prescription refills is a breeze now. :)

The app seemed to work well for me until recently. I used to be able to refill my prescriptions with Express-scripts though the app. Now when you click on the “Search the Formulary” or the purple box “Refill a Prescription “, it just reloads the page. I’ve had to call Express-scripts to order refills which is an added annoyance. Please fix.

What’s the Function of an App if it’s Unusable?

EDIT: the error has been fixed! The app still is hard to navigate, and I still argue that it should be possible for UPMC to put all of their information in a single app instead of spreading it between four. But, I’m glad I can finally use it again.

I’m happy to edit this review when it’s working again, but for now, the app is a waste of space on my phone. Any time I log in, it has a “loading” screen then brings me back to the login page. I have deleted the app, restarted my phone, reset my password… no luck. All I want to do is check my deductible, but the app won’t even let me get in. The UPMC app system being so disjointed is a shame. I shouldn’t need four separate apps for a single insurance company. It’s not this hard.

Persistent Issues Logging In

Every time I log into my account through the app and mobile browser and finish 2 factor authentication, it brings me to a page to reset my password. I have not selected that I want to reset my password, and my password clearly works for me to log into the app and get to the 2-FA login. It does not let me close out the screen telling me to create a new password and I do not want to keep updating a new password every time I log into the app. Every time I click “log in” and not “reset password”. I just updated the app to the latest version and deleted and reinstalled the app and am having the same issue.

How can I please get this fixed?
