Aflac’s response time is phenomenal. Their customer service is awesome! The only complaint I have is the automated system didn’t hold my place in line and call me back... however this just shows you can’t always replace human beings with machines. The benefit I pay for is definitely worth it. I think sometime of canceling because I’m just giving money away for nothing but when something major happens Aflac is always there.
Who is testing the app for you?? It is SO DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE! My son was diagnosed in February and has been getting chemotherapy since March. This process should be getting easier but IT IS GETTING HARDER!!
I started a claim for chemotherapy. In the past I could go back to it and upload my back-up information with the amount and dosages. Now I can’t find that page. So I started a new claim, but when I got to the last page, it had changed and I could not find where I upload my documents. So I hit next, thinking it would be at the end like it used to be, only it isn’t there. So I went to look at my claims and, again, I don’t see the claim I just filled out. If I were sitting in a room with nothing around me and not sounds to distract me, MAYBE I could figure out what I’m supposed to do; however, reality is home school during a pandemic, a sick child, and bills that need to be paid. What I need is a simple process to file my claims NOT yet another thing to make me pull my hair out! Test your product on ACTUAL people who aren’t computer savvy and have no idea what they have to do. Your app is maddening and that’s not what I need right now.
I normally would rate at 5stars. Earlier this years we were submitting claims for chemotherapy. They were approved timely and the money was in our bank usually within 2 days. This was a life saver as I was on disability and my husband is retired.
Now I am undergoing radiation. We have submitted claims just like before, but there seems to be a problem getting claims approved. We had one claim paid after 3 attempts. We submitted the second claim , but have received nothing but a message stating more info needed. I have made three calls (after being on hold for 2 hours)and after each I was told all was good. We still haven’t received a check. Last week we were finally able to talk to our agent, but she couldn’t get them on the phone either. My husband uploaded a new up to date claim today. I called and was put on a list for a call back. That was at approximately 2:30. It’s 5:30 now and haven’t heard anything. I’ll call tomorrow. Hopefully we can get this straightened out.
