Stay Quit Coach 2 is designed to help Veterans and others go from quitting smoking to becoming a non-smoker for good. Stay Quit Coach 2 is based on an integrated care manual for Veterans with PTSD who smoke cigarettes. It offers information, a breathing exercise, coping plans based on the “Ask, Advise, Replace, Mentally Cope” (AARM) model, motivational messages, medication reminders, money-saved calculator, and resources to stay quit. The app is can be used on its own, but for maximum benefit use Stay Quit Coach 2 with the help of a counselor or health care provider. Stay Quit Coach 2 was developed by the National Center for PTSD at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
