I love Castlight! The ease of use is amazing. I love having all my health information in one spot made so easy to access and understand. It shows you your claims, your deductible status, your out of pocket status, your health dollars remaining and it’s easy to check in a glance. It’s saved me more than once at a doctor’s office when they were trying to charge me and I could pull it up right there and show them the amount of health dollars remaining. It’s so great how you can link right from there to any of your healthcare policies, including eye and dental. And not only can you access all the things you need, but it has useful links to other things that might benefit you. You can link to anything and everything you need for your health all in one easy to use spot. If only the rest of life could be simplified this way!

Everything is great with this app. This app helps me keep myself motivated and stay on track. The point system keeps me going on days I don’t want to. Personally, I use points to purchase gift cards to buy new running shoes as a treat. New shoes means more running which means more points for new shoes and repeat. It’s like my own positive feedback loop! There was a minor issue with the sleep tracking on previous versions in relation to apples newest SW. I reached out to the developer and it seems like they resolved the issue. They were prompt in their response and swift in resolving the issue. Excellent customer service!

It’s ok but please add a search function ao we can actually find what we are looking for.Would also be a huge improvement if you could update the manual activity entry options so we can enter data without using these terrible side scrollers that are way too sensitive and the values are way too specific for such a large number range (180 touch points in less than 3 inches!) so it takes almost a minute to adjust to correct value for each field! A drop down or open entry 3 digit number field would be far more practical. The “rewards” offered are a joke, as they are just sweepstakes for things I don’t actually want that go in for way too long and have tens of thousands of entries, so odds of winning are practically zero; but I’m guessing that is based on my employer and not the app itself.

I installed Castlight and it had my Garmin added from the previous Jiff app but Apple HealthKit does NOT work! This is a known issue that appears (based on previous reviews) to be an ignored issue. Support indicated through chat that it is a known issue but there is no fix. Some pages in the app will simply not load, with a loading screen churning away for a minute+ and chat support didn’t load 3 of the 4 times attempted with an error the second time and nothing but an empty support screen three other times.Loading times are slow for many of the app pages and content is arranged awkwardly so navigating the app can be frustrating.I still enjoy perks for spending earned points, but even this process is more time consuming because each time you want to enter a 10 point drawing, you must do it individually. Not a big deal, but in jiff I seem to remember being able to select how many entries I wanted at one time so I didn’t have to sit through loading multiple screens for each entry. Again, not a big deal, but 10 entries now takes 10+ times longer.Jiff was a better app in my opinion.Many of the reviews of Castlight are also suspiciously 5 star ratings with too good to be true positive sentiments as if they were either bribed with points or not real users. Go read some and see for yourself.
