Amp has everything I look for in terms of online banking. The process of opening the account was fast and simple, transferring between accounts and paying friends is easy, and the UI is fairly intuitive and straightforward to use. I like the saving spaces and how the balance remains visible and earning interest in savings accounts and overall think it is a high quality application. Also the colour is cool.

Joined AMP Bank GO because of the new innovative looking app, it seemed innovative and was a branch off from the Starling bank design in the UK, unfortunately the updates and the simple things we’ve become to expect in an App every day did not come quick enough, transferring funds into a saving account to earn interest is clunky, and requires up to 3-4 steps of using spaces. Transferring more than a certain amount is awkward with major delays. AMP Bank GO Help could not respond to help questions in relation to why a transfer of more than a few thousand dollars took 24 hours, in the end I worked it out myself and it simply meant sending smaller amounts to make it go through immediately. I was also stuck in a supermarket for 25 minutes where a security check had been completed on my account and a transaction declined because of this security check, a little Area popped up on the app to say security check requested me to Tap to confirm, but when I went to tap on it to acknowledge it would not work, for this area of the app it was buggy and did not allow me to tap to confirm, so I was left in the supermarket without funds, so both of these things and slow to update with new features to me were unacceptable especially where nobody could explain what happened and why delays or Tap to confirm transactions was not working this was the worst part. So for me goodbye AMP Bank go I tried you, It was good to start but the developments and the issues with security checks creates flaws in the experience. Make sure Help can answer questions !! Great app with an excellent UI! I especially love the colour scheme and, most importantly, the dark mode option. Too many other banking apps have bright white backgrounds that are harsh on the eyes, so it’s great to see AMP Bank Go offering a dark theme.My only issue is that there are currently no notifications when you receive a payment, whether it’s your wages being deposited or someone sending you money. Not getting notified at all is a bit of a downside, and I think this is a pretty important feature. It would be great to see this added in the next update.Other than that, keep up the great work, AMP Bank Go! I’m looking forward to seeing even more features added in future updates.

I registered for an account with AMP GO and intend to utilise it as my primary banking solution. Initially, I was excited about the features and services offered. However, after a few weeks of active use, my experience unexpectedly turned when my account was temporarily disabled. Following this, with no prior warning or clear explanation, I was notified that my account had been permanently closed. Feeling frustrated and confused, I made multiple attempts to contact customer support in hopes of understanding the reasons behind this abrupt action. I sought clarification on any potential issues or mistakes that might have led to this situation, but despite my efforts, I found it challenging to receive a satisfactory response. The lack of communication and support left me feeling powerless as I attempted to resolve what seemed to be an unjust situation with my banking account.
