Don’t be hating.

Not sure why everyone in hating on the app so much. I’ve had a great experience, it shows my trips even when booked through different payment sources, personal and corporate travel and the interface even managed some splits and adjustments that have happened due to shifts in travel plans.
Updated within minutes sometimes of getting off the phone after adjusting my flights.

Lottery losers ,


I received an email from Virgin inviting me to enter its middle seat lottery for a recent domestic flight. Of course I pressed enter. I was then direct to enter via the virgin app, which I have but you still have to log in. Once logged in, it said I had no eligible bookings and that I should blog in again, which I did. Then I had to manually enter the booking reference, even though I was logged in to my account, then I had to manually re-enter all my velocity membership and contact details. So what was the point of logging into the app was if I had to re-enter everything anyway? Virgin app, or the lottery entry process was extremely frustrating.
I thought apps were supposed to streamline engagement. This was like a weird video game that I didn’t know the rules to! Entering the Middle Seat Lottery was actually a worse experience than sitting in the middle seat!😂

Have a bug

The app works well most of the time, I’m only leaving this review to let you know of a bug I’ve had the last few weeks. When I go in to the seat selection screen, I can select a seat but then I can’t get out of that screen as the save/cancel buttons are missing, even if I reboot the app it still doesn’t work and end up having to check in on a browser. I have made sure the app is up to date but to no avail so far. It’s been about 3-4 weeks now. I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 16.1.2 Just thought I’d let you know. I’ll update my iphone software soon and see how that goes.
