Checkatrade 17+

I’ve used Checkatrade’s website for years and was very happy to see they finally had an app. Creating jobs and getting responses from trades all in one place is a big improvement. Using the app to centralize chats is also very handy. Still could do a lot more, but as a “v1” it’s very good.

This is such a great idea. I tel all my friends and family to use it since I was introduced to it a couple of years back.
I have found excellent tradesmen and companies here that genuinely do an a fantastic job. I have found and used Window/Door companies, plumber and bow a carpenter

This app will not protect you against ROGUE TRADERS, believe me, I have just had a really bad experience with a roofing company this app recommended to me. Not only did the company refuse outright to give me a copy of a a vat invoice from a third party company they engaged, they refused outright to give me their own itemised invoice at the end of the job, then to cap it all, they insisted on charging me for work they told me was unnecessary and that they didn’t have to do threatening me with debt collectors if I didn’t pay.
