This app has made a huge difference to how well we’re able to manage the multitude of things that need juggling for our kids’ schools. It’s easier to get sent information and updates and also to find what you need for timetables and trips etc. We can book and view parents evenings, afterschool club, sports clubs, etc. and also book onto and pay in instalments for trips. No more logging in to different systems or filling in paper forms that seem to get lost in school bags. It’s been a great addition to school systems

Happy we now have my school portal as a mobile app. Easy to use, and much better to have the children's school info available on my phone.
Requiring an update prior to using could have serious consequences

I was out and about, and needed to check my child’s schedule and possibly to book an activity (if my other half had forgotten) - but the app wouldn’t allow me to use it unless I updated it first. Fine if I was on WiFi, but I only had poor mobile signal at the time. Such a thing could have serious consequences, so it’s appallingly poor how this update’s been handled.

To clarify - the app requires an internet connection to view schedules or make bookings. Mandatory updates ensure all users have the latest security patches and new features, and our updates are usually small and quick to install.We recognise that limited connectivity can make updating challenging. We will look at options to improve the update process for users with restricted data access and your experience helps us understand how families use the app in practice.

It would be helpful if there was a dedicated student app, or if students could simply log in using this one. Currently, the app doesn’t allow logging in without a parent account.
