iMessage has grown significantly over the years and has slowly gained considerable prestige because of that. I love it for many reasons, which include its simple and intuitive user interface, smooth animations, respect for my user privacy and seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem. As someone who is heavily invested in it, I love the unparalleled convenience of being able to message someone on my iPhone and continue the conversation on my other Apple devices. However, there are some features that are missing which I hope Apple will add soon, such as the ability to star messages, archive chats, group chat typing indicators and disappearing messages. Nonetheless, I strongly believe that iMessage is hard to walk away from and should be used as the primary messaging app for many more users!
Great but..

This app is great you can text people, call them and make group chats. A few things I don’t like: when you are directly messaging someone with iPhone you can see whether or not the message is delivered, and read. That does not apply if you are messaging someone who doesn’t have iPhone. In addition to that, as someone who isn’t allowed WhatsApp where basically all my friends are, it is extremely disappointing and annoying that you can’t make group chats with people who don’t have iPhone. It makes me upset that I can only communicate with a few of my friends, and some of my friends that do have iPhone and can use messages don’t text on there often because they have WhatsApp. I think it would be better for everyone if you can make groups with everyone and feel more included and less cut-off from many of your friends. I am able to communicate with only two of my friends who can’t use messages via Skype, one of whom very very rarely uses it I’m guessing because of WhatsApp, and on top of that Skype can be very laggy as well. Please try to change this or at least give me a response explaining this issue. A few things that are just some suggestions: one that what be very simple is the ability to change your background / chat bubble / etc. Basically being able to customise the ‘appearance’ of the app. Thanks.
More people should use this!

Wow! This app is honestly amazing, and WhatsApp is terribly overrated compared. I love the sleek but yet still bubbly design, I love the satisfying sound effects and feel, I love the organised and easy to use layouts- it’s bliss! I also love the fact that with an iPhone, this app is data-free! More people should get this app, I’m not joking. However, as usual, there are some minor flaws that I think if you considered would make the app more popular and appealing than even WhatsApp. My first suggestion is that you make the app personaliseable , much like WhatApp. My next suggestion is that you let the user create groups, so we can chat in a community together and discuss. My final comment is that maybe you should have a virtual pet within the app! This one is far less vital and is more of an afterthought, but with those type of tamagotchi things being so hot at the moment, I thought maybe it would get you more customers. And yes, get this, you could customise your pet absolutely- change the colour, clothes, so it’s 100% yours: and then make stickers of it available to use in the app, so they’re an exclusive edition that all the other apps won’t have!

I like iMessage because it’s pre-installed but there is four things which can be improved in one. It’s not great when you don’t have great signal examples in supermarkets you can fall back on SMS but that’s not great if you’re trying to send a picture message and don’t want to be charged. Two. sometimes when you’re trying to send a message, if you got 4G or 3G, it takes forever. some cases it says it fails to send. Three it should be cross-platform. Four SMS notification sound should be different to the iMessage notification sound. As default. And when you turn off iMessage in your phone settings it should turn off iMessage on all your apple devices. WhatsApp is better experience. Message app need the ability to schedule messages for both iMessage & sms users just in case you got a idea later at night and you don’t want disturb the person who you’re trying to message. The application lacks cross-platform messaging capabilities. This is why the Google messaging app or WhatsApp is superior. Apple's messages app should implement a QR code-based web messaging feature. and it’s too time-consuming if you want to forward a image or a phrase to another person in your iMessage contacts.
