5-star telco but still much room for improvement

Maxis charges more then the other 2 big telcos ie “yellow” telco & “”blue” telco but I will be satisfied to pay provided the services are better and customer service is more efficient. However, I notice that maxis has data connectivity problems quite often even though it may be around urban areas . And may I suggest improvement in the telephone service efficiency as many times I’ll be put waiting a very long time ie at least more than 10 mins before being engaged with the customer service representative. Apart from the above 2 issues I have been a loyal customer with maxis for the last 15 over years.

Worst service and an even more worse app

Am such a loyal Maxis person but feel sad to see the performance deteriorate from day to day. In a time when people are enjoying high speed internet with no issues connecting to three or four devices, Maxis WiFi is completely dysfunctional and extremely frustrating. The customer service officers completely lack any knowledge and actually they have no interest in solving any issues but just instructing us to do a bunch of pretty useless stuff (like switching off and on, check connections, check speed) and the end of it say something that literally translates to “this is the only screwed up service we can offer you, just take it or leave it”. Lastly the app, oh my god, what kind of app have you created, no information on the account, no history of bills - nothing! All that I can say, Maxis has done a great job in ensuring my loyalty and belief in Maxis dwindles down steadily. Oh, by the way pls wish me luck - gonna call them again in a bit! Like that would change anything.

Friendly app

Easy to use, access and check data. Happy to notice the new changes in our data plan to accommodate for our daily usage and be amongst the competitor in the market. Although maxis is still the most expensive amongst the market, but if there isn't any issues in terms of the line and customer service, then there is no reason for a change. If there is a lucky draw or some sort, which might reward your customers with freebies such as movie tickets, etc, it would be great 🙂
