Best telco than others
1) the app itself is better and reliable. Easy and smooth interface.
2) 5 star for internet connection, never problem and yeah for sure you have to pay more bucks. Lol, if you want super cheap plan etc, choose Umobile and you will notice how big their differences. Lol
3) bad customer service on Twitter , but superb for call centre especially troubleshooting support, kudos. For twitter team, please improve your service, don’t just simply copy and paste the script.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MISCALCULATION OF FEES
Maxis Customer Service is the worst. I reported a problem regarding a Data Roaming Pass in overseas which I have not activated at all through live chat and they gave me a Case reference ID, telling me that they will report to me regarding the matter. However, after about one or two weeks, I still did not get any notice on that, so I went on the live chat again and asked the agent only to get the same answer again, saying that they do not have the results yet. So I waited again and go to live chat the following week and it’s unreachable, forever showing the “Please Wait” words. Hence, I sent an email and there goes again, no reply. And I sent another one, only to get the email saying, your bill is in the archive and we can do nothing about it. Are you purposely wasting my time and drag the matter till the bill is in archive to say that you can ignore the matter ? TRULY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICE ! CHARGING DATA ROAMING FEES WHEN THE USER DID NOT ACTIVATE IT
5-star telco but still much room for improvement
Maxis charges more then the other 2 big telcos ie “yellow” telco & “”blue” telco but I will be satisfied to pay provided the services are better and customer service is more efficient. However, I notice that maxis has data connectivity problems quite often even though it may be around urban areas . And may I suggest improvement in the telephone service efficiency as many times I’ll be put waiting a very long time ie at least more than 10 mins before being engaged with the customer service representative. Apart from the above 2 issues I have been a loyal customer with maxis for the last 15 over years.
