The HBL app is one of the better ones!

Honestly I think I’ll give it 5 stars because I don’t want to worsen the ratings. But it could do better. The interface is easy and understandable especially for the majority of the tasks. If you do have to pay bills you’ll have to select “more” and although they have categorised it, it does need some more work. I don’t really appreciate the fact they wrote my review for me and I had to cut everything and type it again but then again I’ll let this sneakily little move slide. I have used other apps and most of them in Pakistan are nightmares. But yes a great feature to add would be chatting with customer support on the app itself. The face recognition or finger print protection makes it safe and easy to login. It is my default app for all my banking needs. Overall 4.5/5 with some room for improvement. A round of applause for the tech team handling the app. But please if possible reduce the glitches that cause me not to login to the app at times. Thanks

Easy to use interface, decent optimisation

This app has come a long way- it certainly wasn’t the most decent ones out there, but now it surely has to be out there as one of the best, if not the best – I can’t surely make that claim since I haven’t used them all. From paying utility bills to mobile bill payments, transferring funds to accounts within HBL or other banks, to paying your credit card bills – all from the comfort of your home through your smartphone surely is convenient to say the least. In addition to that, you can also check your statement for the last 30 days. That feature needs to worked on though – in my opinion there should be an option to download your statements on weekly, monthly, quarterly or half-yearly basis. Critical to mention – doing your banking in a secured and updated way. With touch ID access enabled, you can login to your account without always having to enter your password, transaction password needs to be entered for all transactions however- which is a decent added security as far as I’m concerned. If you’re an HBL account holder and not using HBL Mobile, you’re missing out on a lot of convenience.

This app is a complete headache. My device was stolen and now I have been trying to reset my password on a new device for last few days but in vain. After clicking forget password i complete the essential requirements and the app then asks for two hours time. I kept my phone screen on and connected with the internet but after completion of two hours when i try to login the app again shows that ID is locked and u have to reactivate the ID. I have done this step for more than ten times but result is same. I have contacted helpline three times the ask me to do the same thing and i have been telling them that the issue is not being resolved despite doing the same thing but the customer representatives say that they don't have any other solution other than what i have already been doing. I have emailed their customer care but no response. This issue has stopped my all online transactions and bill payments.

The answer was yes we don’t do too ups or bills for telenor users. No reason. Any how i use this app to check my account balance every bow and then and for that its accurate but everything else is vague. The two examples above are proof of it.
