It’s good but would like to see some improvements

This is my first hearing aid application. It was really easy to learn and control. I like the speech settings and use them a lot. I wish you could save certain settings. Every time I put them in I have to go to the app and adjust the volume, sharp/soft, comfort mode… I wish they would not reset every time. The provider sold me on the streaming, and I love being able to watch videos and talk on the phone using the app-I hear better on the phone now! But streaming music leaves a little to be desired- I’d love to bump the bass more or tone down some screeching (perhaps the reason I needed hearing aids in the first place). And I wish I could stream off my work computer-I’m in a shared space so it’s a hassle to switch out my hearing aids for ear pods to listen.

The only real issue I have with the App (iOS version) is that after a power cycle the App returns to a Volume setting of “8” and a balance of “0”. This means that I have to set my preferences each time I take the hearing aids out of the charge case and put them on. I expect more from an App that supports a $5k pair of hearing aids.

So I had tried “old school” hearing aids back in 2016. Didn’t hear any difference vs not wearing them. Very expensive. Returned them for a refund.I was intrigued by the dual processor concept and the modern, rechargeable & Bluetooth app setup. I was very happy with the remote audiologist initial testing & setup session today. I’ve been very happy with the sales & tech support.I’ve had these things in my ears for an hour and already Incan tell the difference. I love the ability to fine tune my settings through my iPhone.

The many filters, targeting specific environments, are easy to use. One small drawback is that the settings return to default each time the hearing aids are docked for charging or if you turn them off. Resetting them is not difficult, just bothersome.
