Certified Service Mobile Toolbox (CSMT) is a mobile tool for General Motors Dealer Service personnel. Within it you can: • Pre-authorize specific warrantable repairs (PRA) • Use photos to improve efficiency of the Part Return Process (PPR) • Send part information for traceability (RPT) • Submit detailed Field Product Reports (FPR) • Lookup and view recalls on vehicles (Recall) • Access the Service Workbench All modules have the ability to include embedded images and video of the vehicle in question.

I wish the app will let the request to be submitted with the phones internet and not to wait for a WiFi correction

Hello, thank you for reaching out. In order to submit using your devices info, navigate to Settings and turn off "Submit over Wi-Fi Only". This will allow submissions to entered without waiting for a Wi-Fi connection.

Email Submission of RPT

I just downloaded the app today to submit an RPT for RRAB recall and when submitting the RPT, I got a message that said the app uses the “default Mail app” and that I have to set up an email in the default Mail app to submit.It would be better if I could choose which “Mail app” I want to send the email from (default Mail is my personal email; Per IT, I have to use Outlook for work email), or if the app could submit without using email since we have to sign in with our GM Global Login ID and password. Also I HAVE already set up my “default Mail app” with an email so I don’t understand why I couldn’t submit the RPT.

Hi Alexander, we apologize for the confusion. We are working on an enhancement that will pull up the user's default email application when sending a RPT email. In the meantime, the app currently brings up the Apple email client, which has your icloud account and other emails set up in the Mail Settings. In case the issue still persists, kindly send the error details to csmt@gm.com along with the Application Logs so that we investigate the issue.
