Not at all accessible for visually impaired users.

After five years of reports, emails, conversations, and continuous feedback, the previous Bryant app was finally almost completely accessible for people like me who are visually impaired. One year later, this app has returned to Ground Zero, completely inaccessible. The annoying part of it is that Apple makes it so easy for app developers to make their apps accessible these days. It almost takes an effort to not make them accessible. Bryant has chose to follow that path however. I cannot change modes, I cannot adjust the temperature, I cannot change or update schedules, and I cannot adjust the fan. I have now sent two emails directly to Bryant Epp support without any response. Hopefully this review will help Bryant to understand that it is important to make their services accessible. It is the law and we do have the Americans With Disabilities Act. Please fix this

System is great, app need work

Brand new Evolution system installed as of yesterday. We love the heat pump which is super efficient and quiet. We lost some functionality when switching from our old ecobee lite thermostat, like remote wifi sensors. We also liked the ecobee app that mirrored the wall unit. Bryant’s app doesn’t do this and requires some effort to figure out, and some things appear ambiguous. For example when you have an “off” button that says off, does that mean the entire system is off or does it mean the system is not currently running. I guess we’ll just have to wait until it gets warmer to see whether that changes. I think the system is on but how do I know when it is not currently running. It will take some time to figure out how this works. Seems like they could have done a better job on the app interface.

New app

I absolutely HATE what you did with the new app. I had no issues with the old one!! You should have transferred ALL data from the old to the new! Not only did it screw up my second home thermostat it messed up my outdoor unit because I could not access my thermostat from my phone until I could get here to redo the entire system! It is now going to cost me hundreds of dollars for a service call to get the outdoor unit working again with the thermostat! You should pay me for my trouble and what the service call is going to cost me when they get here!!!! I have had NO SLEEP because of this last night because my house was 90 degrees when I got here last night and if you had not messed with the app it would have been running fine and my house would have been cool when I got here!! Thanks a lot for the screw up and costing me money I should not have to pay! This unit has been in less than a year!!

There should be like a fire or snowflake symbol when it’s actually heating or cooling, not just on or off.Update: the app has greatly improved. Can now see when heating or cooling on the main screen. Need to add operating status to include what we see on the Connex. We have a humidifier and I cannot tell if it’s running when looking at the app like I can with the Connex.
