Good, but a few bugs

I have liked most aspects of the MP3 Audiobook Player. It has the ability to boost the volume and speed books up well beyond the standard 2.0x that most players are limited too. The interface is easy to use and I like that it provides multiple ways to get audiobooks onto your device.One of my favorite features is the ability to bundle a bunch of MP3s into one book so you don't have to fiddle around with multiple files and trying to get them in the right order.My only complaint with MP3 Audiobook Player is that it starts playing paused books whenever my iPhone rings. That bug is super annoying. If the developers could fix this issue, MP3 Audiobook Player would be nigh unto perfect.

i’ve been using this app for several years for audiobooks that have I have purchased from Audible and then removed the DRM from the audiobook using Open Audible. One of the things I love about the app is that it has an EQ. Using the EQ, I can fine tune vocals for audiobooks so that they’re sharp and clear. Another thing I love about this app is that I fall asleep with audiobooks on, so you can set the timer to automatically turn on whenever you start an audiobook and the shake to wake feature has adjustable sensitivity levels. This way I can set the timer for five minutes if I’m not falling asleep immediately I can just give it a light tap and it’ll add five minutes. The Audible app doesn’t have adjustable sensitivity levels for the shake to wake and it doesn’t allow you to automatically set the sleep timer. Also, I really love that this isn’t a subscription based app. I don’t have to keep paying for it over and over again to remove ads and get extra features. It’s a small fee and it’s totally worth the money. I also find this app easy to use with my own personal audiobooks. I just use the my Files app on my iPhone to transfer the audiobook from my windows computer to my iphone and then use the import feature in this app to load the audiobook into the app. also, I had a small question about the app and the author replied immediately.

Update 4/25. App remembers last location without issue. I have only experienced 1 issue with app but it is annoying enough for me look for other apps. The book will restart from the beginning about every other time of listening. I do like the bookmark option but I often stop listening because of interruptions. Phone, people etc. And if I forget to go back and bookmark. I lose my spot when book restarts. What makes this more frustrating is there is no easy way to skip around. If you use bar at bottom it is not for fine tuning and moves in large chunks especially on longer books. I even paid for this app to see if remembering last spot was a premium function. It is not. I tried help section but it is small and only is for importing books. Good app except for this quirk which is a big one for me. It would be 5 stars from me if I could use it without cussing every time it restarts my book ha

I’ve tried many different players and this one is my favorite. I really like the wide range of configuration options available in Settings. I’m editing out complaints from an earlier review because the developer has resolved the issues I was having, so thanks much for that! This player really rocks now!!A couple feature requests please?I’d like to be able to annotate my books inside the player. Let’s say I’ve really enjoyed a book or maybe want to do some further research later on a topic mentioned in a book. It would be awesome if I could add a note (“keep this book for re-listen”....”look up this area on a map”....write my congressman about____”...). If I could tag a book with a colored dot, I could assign categories to the colors (green for “Great book”, red for “terrible book”, yellow for “do more research on this”...). 1). Further still, the ability to add actual text notes would be tremendously useful. I’m usually doing yardwork/housework while listening so it’s not easy to stop and make notes outside the app. 2). Being able to add categories to my books in the app is nice but since categories don’t persist once I’ve removed the last book in a category I’ve created, it becomes too onerous to keep recreating categories all the time. Can you make them persist please?I’ll copy/paste this comment to the paid version too since that’s what I’m using now. If it helps you sell more full versions, you might consider making these more advanced features part of the paid version. Thanks for reading....
