Push to talk physical button needed

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and was looking in settings (both in app and in iPhone settings) to assign the Siri button as the physical push to talk button (while using the app). I can’t seem to find anything and even texted into Verizon customer care and spoke with an agent that could not find an answer, but was very eager to get my idea to the people that can implement it. I also decided to leave this review to double ensure that the proper people see this idea and are hopefully able to implement it sooner than later. That said, I know apple can be annoying for developers to work with, so hopefully it is a possibility to get it implemented.

Works great, needs update

We have all Kyocera PTT+ phones in my company. My son downloaded the app for his iPhone so he could be in contact. App works great, no noticeable difference between app and our phones except app must be open in the background at all times for someone to contact you. App should automatically run in background at all times like iMessage so even when closed you can receive alerts, maybe add a "do not disturb" option. Otherwise, great app!

Emergency Personnel use not too good

Ok, The greatest thing use to be Nextel! Now that Verizon has PTT+ I couldn’t wait to incorporate it into our account for EMS. Now that we have it I’m 50 - 50. The app itself works great and I have no complaints there. However, here are my issues; the app should be an integrated app into the phone so you can change things through settings like button configuration so you can use a side button for PTT. Also, you should be able to change the background color to black because trying to communicate on the way to an emergency you are blinded by the white screen. If these things can be changed I will give it 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and 100% recommendation! Thanks

This is app is mainline of communication for first responders. But the bright white screen needs to go and need to be updated to the black background like all apps. Horrible for use at night.
