Needs Photo Upload Ability

This app is pretty good, my main issue with it is you cannot upload photos when submitting a maintenance ticket, rather you have to take the picture at the time you are creating the ticket. Sometimes it’s easier to take a picture or video and then submit the ticket later which is why being able to upload would be great. Also, it would be nice to be able to upload more than one photo at a time. The ability to upload videos would also be helpful.

This app is pretty good, my main issue with it is you cannot upload photos when submitting a maintenance ticket, rather you have to take the picture at the time you are creating the ticket. Sometimes it’s easier to take a picture or video and then submit the ticket later which is why being able to upload would be great. Also, it would be nice to be able to upload more than one photo at a time. The ability to upload videos would also be helpful.

I never leave reviews for apps, matter of fact this is the first review I’ve left for an app. But I feel the need to say that this app is SO LACKING. And glitchy. Many reviewers said that it zooms in and out, like a broken website except that I can’t even use this on a computer because it’s AN APP. Buttons disappear from the screen, and I can’t even turn the screen because ITS AN APP. I used to live in a community that used the RentCafe Resident App, and the difference in ease and usability of the two apps are night and day. It could be a matter that this apartment complex is cheaper and not as well managed as my previous apartment, so understand that this is a complaint to the apartment more than the app, but I wish this app did more than just maintenance and admin requests! Would be nice if it was an one and done place for all my renting needs (pay/view bills, call concierge, view event- not that this cheap apartment has any-, see announcements, and the bulletin board where residents can post stuff was a nice feature!) please take pointers from that app, or make the one function this does do USEABLE at least!! Sadly there’s no alternative to this I can use, but AVALON management if you see this please consider using RentCafe in the future. This alone would make my renting experience 5x better, honestly.

This app will not let you send a maintenance request *or* a reply on iPhone. To the fool devs who are behind this: you have to make sure the phone keyboard doesn't cover up the 'add comment' or 'send message' action buttons. Did you test this for more than 45 mins? Doubt it. Anyway, I have tried so many different things. You owe me a solid hour of my life back. *******To other residents/tenants ANYWHERE who use this: none of this will ever get better until we complain about how unusable this service is (that they're probably paying a pretty hefty amount for).

App crashes/only live updates half the time. I have to close and reopen the app constantly to get up to date feed. When trying to add comments to open work orders, the screen constantly zooms in or out and prevents the user from scrolling as well, effectively making 1/3 of the app impossible to see or interact with as it's completely off screen. This includes the send button when typing as well as actually seeing what I'm typing. Both are off screen. Have to close and reopen app for this as well. These should be very simple to fix but basically make the app ridiculous to have to use.
