Developers Dropped the Ball on 1-Yard Line
Like mentioned before, it’s a great app to go paperless as far as important auto data (and it does pull your registration in flawlessly). That being said, the developers got a little too excited with the “Add To Wallet” feature. I’m using an IPhone 8 Plus with the current operating system and all this feature did was bring up a random webpage from my history (creepy), then made me click yes to “allow a wallet badge”, which after accepting it did absolutely nothing...nothing but show me an article I read two weeks ago on Vice News. It’s wasn’t in my Apple Wallet or any wallet for that matter (It does allow you to renew your plate tags though, which is cool I guess). Note to developers: don’t add features that don’t work/executed incorrectly, as it only makes people mad. If you never offered it, I probably wouldn’t have been annoyed because I’d just be happy having digital registration that was legally binding. Now, like any good American, I want it all and it says I can’t have it..which means I will be up all night thinking about what I could have had but don’t. 20 minutes ago, digital auto registration in my Apple Wallet never once crossed my mind before in my lifetime and now I feel 100% cheated. Thanks a lot guys, I hope you are proud of yourselves :/
Needs a bit of work
Saw this at the clerks office and was excited to go digital with my registration and insurance. The setup was a breeze and all my info was imported without a hitch. After exploring the menu, I spotted the “Add to Wallet” option. At that point stars fell from the review. The first time I clicked it, I was taken to the website that did not display my registration. Tried again later and it pulled the web page information I was exploring from the house. Removed all pages from my browser and tried again only to receive a blank web page. I love the concept, but can’t use it. Hopefully this option will be up and running soon.
Except user instructions are very poor. And I cannot for the life of me how to add the insurance information. Fix these 2 issues and I’ll change the rating to 5 Stars.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
