Don’t bother
I read the other reviews first. Many problems but a few successes. I was willing to give it a try since I work in software and was interested to see if they had fixed the problems identified. Nope!
I was able to find my vehicle using plate and title number (quite an unnecessary extra piece of data to require). I went through the renewal process and completed every step, including the addition of my credit card for payment. Submitted and got an error that simply said “unable to process at this time, please try again”. So, I tried again and same result.
I have 3 vehicles to renew, so I went to the county clerk’s website and renewed the other two in about 1 minute each. Then, I restarted this app and tried again — same error. I deleted the app. If it isn’t faster or easier than why even have the app? Take it down, test it well, and fix the problems before reposting.
Error saying please enter enter the valid email address
Today I went to my local county clerk DMV I was trying to get an electronic version of my vehicle. Registration was advertising at the local county clerk in downtown in Knoxville Tennessee and I see the app I go to the App Store and download the app at the county clerk And when I was trying to create an account when I enter my right correct email address and valid email address and giving me an error message saying please enter the valid email address then I called Customer Care and online services telling me the app is being outdated and every one that is new to this cannot create an account and it’s been outdated and they saying that they looking forward to but I don’t think so because they don’t want to spend a lot of money to do this updating their software of the app. And what’s the point of having this app when you can’t use it
Not a single feature works
Not a single feature is working on this. It hasn’t been updated in over 3 years, It doesn’t accept master card anymore which is the only card I have on file. It will not allow me to even add a card it just says error for any card we try. It won’t let us do a different card without adding the card either. It won’t let me connect my bank like it’s supposed to even with completely correct routing and account numbers. If the developers have given up on this app over 3 years, then it absolutely should not be advertised on the official government “Notice of Motor Vehicle Registration Renewal” card.
