New Update Needs Fixing!

Didn’t have any crazy issues with it until the new update come out, now it won’t even log me in. I enter my information and it sits there buffering and never succeeds to load.Other than this bug, the app is fairly straightforward, although it would be nice to be able to fix incorrect punches from the app instead of logging in on a web browser. Not the most user-friendly, but I don’t have any problems navigating it.

Lack of nickname
When I tried to clock in or out sometimes it won’t even clock me in or out. Tends to load for long periods of time. With this being said, it creates incorrect times of work and it has to be fixed. Ever since I’ve started using this app, I’ve always had this issue with it. When you try to call for assistance so far I found a lot of the people I’ve talked to are very disrespectful and rude. A lot of the times I have not been able to get very good help from them. I’ve only talked to a handful of people that were actually helpful and kind. This needs to be addressed and fixed. Most of the time when you’re waiting for your paycheck, you’ve gotta wait almost 2 weeks before it actually gets to your mailbox. I’m not sure how direct deposit works considering I don’t have it. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was an issue as well.

The desktop version is no better. When I try to log in using the provided instructions (which were not received until after Jan. 1) I get a message saying app usage blocked. When attempting to enter hours on the desktop version, my punches show as "Unvalidated" and my employer can't approve them, nor can either one of us edit them. The platform works nothing like the training videos, I wouldn't waste your time watching them. Thanks Acumen and DCI for taking a terrible system and making it worse... Can we just just go back to the fax days? Or snail mail? Or carrier pigeon? I think pigeons would probably be more efficient and less of a headache.Update: After about 90min the "Unvalidated" punches finally turned to "pending" and were able to be verified and approved, but not until after my employer and I were up until 1am trying to figure out what's what.

Hello, we are sorry that your agency did not seem to send you timely instructions. The reason you can only use 1 environment & not the other is to prevent fraud that the government is requiring all agencies to use EVV by 1/1/19 called the 21st Century Cures Act. If you choose which environment you can work best from then do that and have your agencys call center unblock you from the other. Then, either environment will work.

My employer took time to train all of us from the help center on the dci desk top version. This was very very helpful to see just how to use it properly. Most error messages are there because the employers need to set up the clients for me or update their plan dates for me. I would recommend calling your managers for help before thinking it’s just the app. I hope this helps all of you!
