This new app is a great improvement from the prior app. It took only minutes to download and set up my account. The new features are greatly appreciated and make banking remotely much easier. I love the ability to open accounts through the app and use Zele to transfer money. The app is much easier and more efficient to use compared to the old platform. I did have a moment of confusion but was able to call customer support and the person that helped me had a very clear understanding of the app and was able to assist with all my questions. I also really like how the app display translates so nicely from the computer to phone.

I love this app. I’m not sure of prior versions because I just started banking with them last year. I love having a passcode access ability. My favorite feature is the mobile check depositing. That is quick and easy and saves a trip to a branch. I also like setting up notifications. I have one set up for if any transaction is above a certain amount or if account balance is below certain amount.

Since October 20th I have not been able to access the app. Keeps saying I need to update it. Check App Store and it’s updated already. Says you need iOS 17. I use an iPad Pro to check my accounts and there is no iOS 17 update for the iPad. So I haven’t been able to check my balance. All of the bank locations are so far spread throughout my area, with no vehicle, it makes it impossible for me to check it. Found out today it’s been overdrawn for a week. I’m closing my account and never coming back to this bank. It’s always something here. Told I’d never get charged service fees and every month they’re charging me fees. Every month the transactions get put in pending for insane amounts of time only to be withdrawn when the account is over. Really insane. Money is too tight to have a bank like this screw me around.

I don’t like the app- It’s often unclear what funds are available at any given time. Maybe this is more the bank than the app… The way they organize transaction and place hold balances seems to be intentionally designed to result in fees, in my opinion. The engagement center employees don’t appear to know how to read. I think they might have been replaced with AI, because they seem to only provide canned answers and refer you to a branch office. I moved my saving away from FCB many years ago in favor of a larger bank with better products. I kept my checking here just because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of changing all of my auto-payment information. I’ve had enough. I plan to close my last account with FCB, which has been open and it good standing since the 1980s. Good bye and good riddance, FCB.
