I have using this app for many years and it has always been great. However this year the app has degraded and many features I enjoyed are not functioning properly. An example, I would look for use the bill pay feature to set up my payments. Of late after I scheduled a payment, I have noticed several days later my scheduled payment is shown on the app. I have accidentally made double payments thinking I did not schedule it. When I called customer Service they say just use the online banking instead of bill pay. This is bummer for me. I hope the manufacturers fix this.

Won’t do a mobile check deposit

I have been having the same issues with the mobile check deposit feature for a while. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have made sure that I am running the most current iOS possible. I try to take a picture of the check and have to force close the app because it freezes. I’ve left this as feedback before and have been asked for details like what I was doing. What I am doing is trying to deposit a check. I have tried entering the amount and then taking a photo of the front. Freeze. I have tried waiting to enter the amount in the box until after the photos are taken, but as soon as I try taking a photo it freezes. I’ve tried taking a photo of the back first, and that makes it freeze, too. I honestly don’t know what other details you want. Transfers work fine, and I don’t use the app for anything else. I set up bill pay on my computer, not the app. Please just fix it. I’m using an iPhone SE2. And, yes, my iOS is up to date.

App Testing Needed Prior

I hope this is your way of testing the app by sending it through email because it’s in need of improvements. So far I’ve only been able to successfully login once and that’s immediately after I download the app. I’ve had to redownload the app three times in hoping that it not logging me in was just a fluke. When I enable Face ID and launch the app, it triggers Face ID despite the login page not even appearing yet. Once that happens it refuses to log me in through Face ID again.After attempting to login a different day, it allowed it though when I attempted to transfer funds from one account to another, the app turned completely blank with only the menu appearing and none of my accounts. You’ve, unfortunately, just relaunched an unusable (at least as of 14Jan, 2021) version of the previous SSFCU My Branch app, relabeled it, and made it pretty.I hope it becomes functional soon with some of the suggested features in these reviews.

Fluctuating available balance…?

I’m really disappointed with this app—especially considering it’s a banking app that’s supposed to make managing finances easier. The withdrawal process with SS is confusing and unreliable. I’ve had multiple instances where my available balance fluctuates without explanation. For example, I might see an available balance of $30, then a few hours later it jumps to $150, only to drop back to $30 the next day. It’s incredibly frustrating not knowing how much money I actually have in my own account.On top of that, the way transactions are displayed is overly complicated. Why can’t it just be clear and straightforward? Something like:June 22, 2025Merchant Name — $AmountMerchant Name — $AmountJune 23, 2025Merchant Name — $AmountMerchant Name — $AmountThe app even seems to switch dates on transactions, which adds to the confusion. I understand that different transactions process at different speeds, but is it really that hard to list the transaction under the date it was made, rather than the date it finally processed? That small change would make a big difference in helping users track their spending accurately.For a financial platform, these kinds of usability issues seriously undermine trust and transparency.
