I have using this app for many years and it has always been great. However this year the app has degraded and many features I enjoyed are not functioning properly. An example, I would look for use the bill pay feature to set up my payments. Of late after I scheduled a payment, I have noticed several days later my scheduled payment is shown on the app. I have accidentally made double payments thinking I did not schedule it. When I called customer Service they say just use the online banking instead of bill pay. This is bummer for me. I hope the manufacturers fix this.

Won’t do a mobile check deposit

I try to take a picture of the check and have to force close the app because it freezes. I’ve left this as feedback before and have been asked for details like what I was doing. What I am doing is trying to deposit a check. I have tried entering the amount and then taking a photo of the front. Freeze. I have tried waiting to enter the amount in the box until after the photos are taken, but as soon as I try taking a photo it freezes. I’ve tried taking a photo of the back first, and that makes it freeze, too. I honestly don’t know what other details you want. Transfers work fine, and I don’t use the app for anything else. I set up bill pay on my computer, not the app. Please just fix it. I’m using an iPhone SE2. And, yes, my iOS is up to date.

Loyal Since the 90s – Now Looking for a New Bank Because of This App

My wife and I have been SSFCU members since the early 90s—our parents were members long before us—so we’ve been with this credit union for literally decades. We’ve stuck with you through thick and thin because we believed in the “member-first” promise. But this mobile app is pushing even lifelong loyalists like us to the breaking point.It’s honestly embarrassing. Some days the app won’t load at all—just an endless spinning wheel. Other days it crawls so slowly I can make coffee while waiting for my balance to appear. It freezes constantly: mid-login, mid-transfer, mid-anything. I’ll force-quit, log back in, and five minutes later it’s frozen again. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve had to delete the entire app and reinstall it just to get basic access. Right now it’s completely unusable on both my iPhone and iPad, and my wife is getting the exact same dead screens on her devices at the exact same time. This isn’t a “my phone” problem—it’s an SSFCU problem.We’re far from alone. The App Store and Google Play reviews are packed with identical complaints: freezes, refusals to open, constant outages, people stuck doing the delete-reinstall ritual every few days. Social media is full of members tagging you asking why the app is always down or painfully slow, and even your own posts keep mentioning “scheduled maintenance” that somehow turns into hours (or days) of downtime.We’ve tried every troubleshooting step support throws at us—clear cache, restart, update iOS, switch networks—nothing works for long. After 30+ combined years of membership across two generations of our family, we shouldn’t have to fight this hard just to see our own money.SSFCU, please fix your app. Long-time members like us deserve reliable access, not this endless cycle of frustration. If things don’t improve soon, we’ll have no choice but to take our decades of loyalty (and our money) somewhere that actually works.

I hope this is your way of testing the app by sending it through email because it’s in need of improvements. Once that happens it refuses to log me in through Face ID again.After attempting to login a different day, it allowed it though when I attempted to transfer funds from one account to another, the app turned completely blank with only the menu appearing and none of my accounts. You’ve, unfortunately, just relaunched an unusable (at least as of 14Jan, 2021) version of the previous SSFCU My Branch app, relabeled it, and made it pretty.I hope it becomes functional soon with some of the suggested features in these reviews.
