I have to agree with the others who have stated this was not needed. Wouldn’t it have been more efficient and easier for the users if they had revised the old app to reflect the features in this app. I had no idea there was a new app to manage the credit cards. When I went online to make sure that the balance had been paid, I was redirected to the new app. So then I had to take the time to register the card that had already been registered on the VACU app. If they simply had to do this (although we all wonder why), it would have been better to already have the information linked. I’ve always thought the VACU website and app could have been a lot better but adding another app wasn’t a way to do it.

I lost my card and went into my app to turn it off as I’d been doing easily for years. Most of the time, my card is simply misplaced. I went to the app to turn off the card and I was prompted to download this app. When I downloaded it, I went through the headache of setting up an entirely new username/password. Why do I need two different usernames/passwords for my checking account and the card that’s directly linked to it? I go through the trouble of setting up the app and it required my whole card number to manage the card. How is this helpful if the card is lost? I’ve lost 20 minutes doing something that I used to be able to do it 20 seconds.

The old app used to serve multiple functions and worked much better than this. It’s frustrating having to use two apps. I have to have two logins now. Why did they need to complicate it? Why fix something that isn’t broken? They’ve made things less user friendly for their customers. This app is also absolute garbage. Constant freezing, telling you your card is unlocked even when it is locked, errors, the list goes on. It’s terrible. I hope they will go back to just having one app again. This has been a colossal failure of an experiment. I’m disappointed.

The update in the App Store has been trying to update for days. Keeps circling. Remains pending and never finishes the update. Yes, rebooted phone, etc. It’s a bug with the app. This is also on the brand new iPhone Pro so it’s not the phone. Also, this was a poor choice for an app when the regular banking app would have made more sense to use. Why a separate app. All your banking with this credit union should be in one place, not 2 seperate places. Also, brine has had numerous issues with logins not working, etc. But forced to use this app to get your credit card paid.
