You can check in any time you like, but you can never leave.Beware Gannett newspapers like the Times Recorder. They get your credit card info by offering you a great deal, but then make it nearly impossible to figure out how to cancel your subscription, or even learn when you will next be billed. They will bill you at full cost without warning when your subscription deal is up. Super shady practices.

I can rarely open my account and am asked to sign in repeatedly to no effect. The phone numbers provided either don’t work or connect you to a call center who does nothing. If you do get into your account and leave a message requesting contact, you never hear from them. Sad comment on a once great paper.
Poor news reporting

It is supposed to cover news. There were two young men who died in separate ATV accidents two days apart around two weeks ago. I’m still waiting for the story. A one year old died unexpectedly the other day. No news story. They repeat their stories day to day and many times within the same edition.
