If this review was about the tech that shows up at your house, it would be five stars. But it’s not, it’s about terrible online service. First you waste time chatting back-and-forth with a AI robot that seems to have technology from 10 years ago, …you have to keep changing your question to get an answer. Then it finally connects you to a live agent, who is obviously not American because they call you “ dear Steve” or” Mr. Steve”.. It goes back-and-forth between those two salutations. All I wanted to do is change the password on my modem administration, but the foreign agent, although he could understand English, could not comprehend what I was asking or what he was answering. Then after repeating the same problem several more times to him in very simple English he said he had to change the password. After five minutes he says he cannot get into my modem . What a joke – Very frustrating. If this app is as good as their customer service don’t bother downloading it

Astound representatives lie to you to get you to sign up for a “deal”. Then you get no documentation confirming the deal that you can reference for the future. I was told to sign up for their internet service when looking for a provider at my new apartment. The rep offered me $30/month and said as long as I enabled the autopay feature it would take $10 off every month to be roughly $30. What they don’t tell you is that every month they change the amount you’re charged for “taxes, surcharges, and fees” with no breakdown or indication of what these are and why they change all the time. So even if your services are $30, they can change the fees at their own leisure whenever to charge you whatever they want. Then you call and email over and over and your original rep will hide from you and never answer the phone but leave unhelpful voicemails saying it’s “the fees”. My bill is different every month with no explanation why.

I highly advise against using this company for your internet and mobile service. I initially signed up with the promise of paying only 20$ per month for internet, but over time, the charges kept increasing. First, the price went up to 45$ per month, and then to 50$ a month, without any prior notice or explanation. This is nothing short of deception. To make matters worse, when I experienced a service interruption, they disconnected my mobile phone and tried to charge me an additional 40$ just to restore it. This company is taking advantage of its customers, changing prices without consent, and imposing unfair charges. These practices are dishonest and exploring. And I strongly believe they should be investigated. They deceive people to sign up and then hit them with hidden fees and price hikes. I will advise people to avoid this company.

There’s so many reviews stating how useless this app is I won’t go into further details. I rather focus on Astounds response, instead of having Jackie copy paste the same answer over and over, why not work on making the app easier to use and add the tools people have asked for. The reviews are pretty much all claiming the same thing. Jackie, there’s clearly difficulties for users to find all these tools, make them more accessible and easier for the users. Take a quick look at Spectrums app, which somehow is 1000% better than astounds. Even if the app is as great as you tell us, if the user can’t find the tools, it’s basically useless. Cant wait for your response Jackie.
