The app works well to understand the commute options to get to your destination, including scooters and e-bikes (you must pay a small premium to see these options). The “Go” functionality works well and predicts 1 line arrivals accurately. I haven’t tried it for busses. I do like how it notifies you of your stop in case you are not paying attention. The ability to give feedback on the seat availability and cleanliness/loudness of the vehicle and station is cool and I hope the data is used by transit productively to keep the trains and stations clean. The 1 line does seem to have a small but consistent amount of riders who camp out and sometimes create a mess in the back seats and leave the fabric seats dirty.Overall this is a big improvement in the app and much appreciated by this commuter.

Don’t trust your life to ST!!!
After a Mariners game my wife and I were directed to walk approximately 1 mile to catch the 550 bus to return to Bellevue Transit Center. It was approximately 10 PM. We we arrived at the directed site there was no transit bus stop at that location. The APP then notified us that that bus stop was closed due to construction. The APP would not direct me to another bus stop - it kept directing us to the same location. We walked until we found Transit Security employees- they directed further back to where we had originally started walking. When we arrived there there was no 550 pickup site. A downtown bus driver took us back up to another location and directed us to walk down hill from 2nd to 4th Ave to a bus stop there - there was no bus stop there. We walked further uphill and found a bus stop & a 550 bus was stopped there. When we tried to get on the bus, the driver REFUSED to let on, saying it was a drop off location only. I explained the it was 10:30 PM and we needed to get back to Bellevue Transit Center before the last bus. He refused to tell us where a bus stop was that we could catch. He rudely shut the doors on us. After walking more miles we found 2 more Transit Security employees that told us to go back to the transit stop where the driver refused to let us on. A few blocks more of walking and trying to use the USELESS APP, we caught a CAB that cost us $75 to take us back to the Bellevue Transit Center where our vehicle was parked. It was mid-night. Don’t trust your life to Seattle Transit!!!

A great new addition to our departure boards today - Destination Filters.
Just open up a station board, tap on Destination and choose the station you want to get to. You'll only see the services that stop there. Great for busy stations where you want to cut out the noise and focus on the lines that you care about.
Best of all, it works for bus stops as well: tap on Destination and choose the place you're going to, and we'll work out which bus lines from that stop go there.
Lots more to come over the summer - see you next time!

Saved Stops by Distance
Now just tap the toggle on the Saved tab to re-order your saved stops and stations by how close they are to you.
Service Alert Summaries
No more scrolling through long lists of alerts. The app now creates a short summary highlighting the most recent and important disruptions affecting your journey.
Better for your battery
We’ve made major optimisations to how the app uses location and background activity while you’re travelling. You can now tap GO with confidence that it won’t drain your battery.
Smarter Live Activities
Live Activities now end cleanly when you reach your destination. You’ll also see a quick summary of your trip when a Live Activity begins.
Home & Work improvements
You can now edit or remove your Home and Work locations again. Saved places and stations also sync automatically through iCloud, keeping all your devices up to date.
Powerful new Shortcuts support
You can now start live directions directly from Shortcuts or Siri. Instead of opening the app, directions begin instantly as a Live Activity — perfect for routines like starting your commute each morning.
The app also remembers your preferred routes. If a familiar journey is available, it will be selected automatically. Otherwise, just choose a route once and we’ll remember it for next time.
Clearer train departure boards
Train times are now easier to read in both the app and widgets, so you can find what you need at a glance.
If you’re enjoying the app, a quick rating or review really helps.
