Recently I had a pretty major back surgery, and was encouraged multiple times to download the app. “You can schedule your appointments, see your own test results, track your health, contact your Dr or staff, refill prescriptions, etc. That all sounds great, but I’ve tried to contact my dr multiple times through the emails on the app, tried to refill my prescription 3 + times, nor could I get my test results. I never received one response to the multiple requests for prescription renewal, never got a response to my increased pain and decreased mobility complaints, nor could I get anyone to contact me about getting copies of my test results so I could turn them over for my short term disability claim. To sum it up, this app is strictly for your Dr to contact you, track your health, and better review your past appointments and labs. All in all it seems like a great app for your Dr to better track and contact you, but it doesn’t go both ways....Update: One FULL WEEK later I finally received a response to ONE email...so they do receive the emails on the other end and I guess just choose to ignore them? I don’t know who to blame. This app is for THEM, not YOU, and Sentara’s post op care in general is just lack and lazy.
