Crappy since updates!!

This used to be so easy and now it’s a thirty minute chore on a good day! Nice that you fixed the member # field, but what is the purpose of SAVING MY ADDRESS if it doesn’t really save and I have to enter it over and over! THAT is annoying! Furthermore, I go through the whole thing, it seems like it’s taking but then you hit “give now” and it goes to the next screen that says “token not valid”! What token? I used to be able to pay my tithe online as soon as I got paid. It’s a week later and this crappy app STILL won’t let it go through! I guess I have to go back to writing checks! Boo hiss!

Greetings and thank you for taking the time to review our app. Your opinion is valuable to us and we are sorry to see that your experience has not been up to your standards. With our recent update, address is no longer required to make a donation, and in the future we hope to begin autofilling address so that you don't need to go through the process again.

Regarding the token error you are experiencing, that happens as a result of internet connections timing out. We have made some improvements on our end to hopefully alleviate that in the future. Please let us know if you keep seeing that issue.

Needs some adjustments since recent update

This new update may look nice, but it could use some adjustments. I wasn’t confident to give with the app after the update and instead used the web interface on my computer. I prefer the look and usability of the web version. The main things I liked about the previous version was that I was able to see where the giving was designated on the same page as the amount and payment method selection. Now it brings up a window for an amount first and nothing else. That’s where I wasn’t confident giving through this app and went through the web interface instead. I wasn’t sure where the giving was designated. It didn’t give me an indication if I entered an amount would it just give to general or give me more options after that screen.

Greetings and thank you for your excellent feedback. We understand your concerns surrounding the donation amount being it's own page. Please know that we developed our new interface in close coordination with our users, but we understand that our changes won't work for everyone. In our current flow, you enter your amount, and on the next screen you can choose your fund designation in the "Select a Fund" dropdown, and your total donation amount will always show on the Give button at the bottom of the screen.

We will take your feedback into account as we iterate on our giving experience.

This app is difficult to navigate

I rated this app low because after accidentally clicking, which caused a double payment, the app says to get a refund click here!!! When I clicked on what your website said too, I soon realized this app wasn’t going to issue a refund at all. I haven’t used this app since sometime last Fall, I used a different card back then. However, I lost that card and was issued a new card and somehow this app debited from my new card which was issued sometime around June of 2024. This app debuted from my account without my permission. I never gave this app my new card number, never spoke to anyone connected to the app developer and this is unacceptable!!! The app will not allow me to delete my card number. This app should be held accountable for deducting without my permission.

We don't have access to your contact information here in the App Store, so we have no way of reaching out. But as we said before if you head over to help.tithe.ly and chat with us or email us at support@tithe.ly, we would be happy to help you out.

We do want to clarify that when a card is replaced after it is lost or stolen, banks often send along the details to the various services the old card was connected to since the new card is still connected to the same underlying bank account. This is likely what your bank did and why the transaction still processed even though you had never personally added this new card to your Tithe.ly account.

As for why you cannot delete the new card from the app, we would not want to speculate about your account in a public forum like this one but we do have some ideas so please reach out to us and we would be more than happy to resolve the issue for you. We will also be able to confirm exactly why your replacement card is showing on the account. Ultimately, we want to make sure you are able to easily support your church by giving how you want, when you want, and where you want, so our support team is ready and waiting to help you out.
