It would be very helpful to have portion size listed as part of the food description. I can often find the food in looking for, but all it tells me is nutrition for one serving, but not how much that serving is (cups, grams, ounces, anything would be helpful). Also it would be nice to click on weight or blood glucose and see the history in a nice table rather than having to click back through the days to find when you last weighed in. Weight watchers would bring up a list of each prior weight and what date it was entered. It would be a welcome addition to the app.

Horrible update - Ruined the app!

Doctor recommended, but I’m ready to delete after recent update! Was doing so well tracking, but it is now too much work to use!! I have called customer service about most of the issues and while they were very nice, I have yet to see any of the issues fixed. 1.) All of my calories and macro counts since Sept are wrong. Ex. Reading 90,000 calories instead of 90. Not very helpful for my nutritionist to read. 2) Saved meals from before update have no calorie info connected with them and can’t be selected. 3) Can’t add a new food when ‘search’ can’t find it. Put info in and then when I click add, it won’t save. 4) Search isn’t coming up with options to choose from anymore. If I search salsa it just puts one option into log and I can’t select which option or brand I want. 5) Hate that I can’t log by meals. Have to now do each item separately and select meal and time. Plus the message congratulating me for every single item is so annoying! Please fix app so I don’t have to delete. The old logbook was 100% better than ‘Me’.

Very Buggy (2nd review)

Downgrading my two star review to a one star review and deleting the app off my iPhone. The app is incredibly buggy. I’m not sure I would trust having my medical data on this app. Twice now the app purged my record of the meals I entered. Additionally, the amp is recording all on its own that I took my medications. I continually get notified of getting mail from Welldoc but there is no mail in the inbox. Unable to connect to my Fitbit app and import data. When talking to customer support about this, they were very argumentative and reluctantly disclosed the fact that indeed the import function to Fitbit in the Welldoc app does not work (they blamed Fitbit for this problem) and I have work around it by first importing my Fitbit data to my Apple Health app (Apple Health only imports the ‘steps’ data and ignores any other data collected by Fitbit) then connect the Apple Health app to Welldoc app and import its data. As I said before, the Welldoc app is a great idea, but in execution it doesn’t live up to the idea.

First time using welldoc I spoke to Lena. She walked me through several scenarios. She was extremely helpful, supportive, patient, and kind. I can’t believe how wonderful and expansive this app has to offer! Lots of choices and sharing capabilities. Lots of learning how to cook healthy, the variety of sharing through various apps and with health care providers. Many choices and learning opportunities. I am 69 and found the app very user friendly with Lena’s help, I am feeling empowered to use this app and to discover more of what is offered on this app. She even welcomed me to call back if I had any questions in the future. he Welldoc® App is Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) intended to be used by healthcare providers (HCP) and their patients – aged 18 years and older – who have prediabetes, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, and/or sleep apnea. The Welldoc App also supports weight management and mental well-being. The patient software, running on a mobile phone, collects health data, promotes healthy behavior, and encourages adherence to treatment plans and self-monitoring practices as advised by a HCP. The software also generates electronic reports intended for a HCP. The web-based HCP software allows HCPs to view patient health data and communicate directly with their patients. The software provides secure transfer, storage, and secondary display of data from devices such as continuous glucose monitors (CGM), blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, activity trackers, and weight scales as well as self-reported health information. The software also performs retrospective analysis of CGM data which may be used by people with diabetes and their HCP when determining therapeutic strategies. The software provides educational content to encourage behaviors which may help living well with cardiometabolic conditions based on guidance from healthcare professional organizations. This may include promoting healthy lifestyle choices such as getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and promoting physical activity.
