So my experience with delivery was great, the drivers were friendly and my food was delivered whilst the food was still hot. My only problem however, has more to do with the app itself. More specifically, the fact that orders cannot be over certain monetary limits. I understand that this may serve the purpose of ensuring that if a person isn’t able to pay, that great losses aren’t incurred. However, for the rest of us trustworthy folk, it leaves us unable to order food for a large group, which is slightly inconvenient seeing that deliveries are actually more beneficial for larger orders as opposed to in-store purchase. However, other than that, the app worked smoothly and efficiently and I was pretty happy with the effortlessness of use and the convenience it provided. My food was delivered quite quickly which is impressive, thank you.

I had put our order into the cart and when payment was due, was asked to put banking details in again, which I did. It took forever to confirm and message came through from bank that money had been deducted. Then the app said it was awaiting confirmation from the restaurant which took forever. It took so long that I eventually decided to close and reopen the app to refresh it and when I did, the order was gone. No trace of it. Tried to find a number to call on the app and couldn’t find one. I don’t think it’s a lot to provide a number customers can call if there are issues. Looked on Google and found a number that I called and after selecting options, it rang for a long time with no answer. I held for about 15 minutes before I hung up. Selected the help option in the app and found an option to send through a message. An email was sent to me and after I replied informing them of what had happened and sending them a screenshot of the message from the bank in the banking app… dead silence. Called call centre this morning and “matter will be escalated”. “By when can I expect to hear back from you?”, “depends on when they get back to me”. Surely there are guidelines on this to provide to customer… I can’t be the first to ask how long I am expected to wait. Very frustrating!Not to mention, my banking details were altered (to Mr) so it keeps asking me to reinsert them and there is no way for me to remove those details and save the correct details. Not impressed.

Mr D has service has declined to a level that is beyond shocking , Although order was at the time already 1 hour late, Driver marked food as delivered and disconnected his tracking halfway to adress- The only thing worse was the way their call centre handled my plea for assistance, they did not call their driver , and said my query will be re directed which i was told they have no idea on turnaround time, which left us by 21:00 when restaurants were closed still with no food , ni assistance , and a very uninterested call centre agent , that couldn't care less , Clearly she hates her job and have no interest in assisting clients, And it seems that they protect their defaulting drivers , call centre avoid to give you their names, And you are denied to speak to anyone senior - so they devoid from any way in taking responsibilty to resolve , So R300 order , gone , Eventually i got through to another call centre guy , i eventually got approval to get my money back , however may be in 5 days , So yes by 21:00 no friver , no order no food , no assistance , no supervisor and R300 that will float in there system until one day they refund it - I wont recommend Mr D to everyone i know, but judging by there absolutely no care attitude, and shielding their drivers with non delivery and disappearing with R300 order , they are doing a fine job by losing clients at a rapid pace , Being unreliable , dishonest, Rude , No care attitude, no frear to answer to it - cleary very cushy in their job wherby they covers up for each other, they doing just fine by blissfully moving to levels yhat will one day lead to closure

This app needs an option where I get to choose who my delivery driver is. Because tell me why I had to explain myself to a guy who was telling me a 10% tip was a waste of his time and petrol, having to go as far as to tell me which restaurant I should be ordering From because it’s convenient for him. Just now I wanted to place an order but I remembered I might end up with a scolding simply because my order doesn’t live up to the drivers expectations, hence I’m now writing this review. it’s the bloody disrespect honestly, and the fact that I couldn’t give a driver rating on the app directly. It’s really not a stretch to have these options on the app. Imagine having to now drive to a restaurant because you’re trying to avoid the embarrassment of being insulted by a random stranger for giving them your money 😮‍💨 id appreciate it if you guys can get back to me so i can log an official complaint and have this person removed from delivering to me. He can deliver to other people, just not me.
