So far we have only heard of ‘Contactless Transactions’. If there is any Bank which has been able to achieve ‘Contactless Onboarding’ for their card customers in a true sense of the word, it is CBD. Unimaginably frictionless and intuitive app that lets you apply for the CBD Credit Card from the comforts of your home in few minutes without having to sign reams of papers. Quite a futuristic solution with capability of delivering virtual card within the app which also allows to add the card into Samsung and Google Pay, solving for both the e-commerce and in-store payment requirement together for the customer.

8 months back I visited CBD branch with my friend for his work. One of staff approached me & explained me about their credit card product. There was a mention of cashback based on my spending criteria. I met the spending criteria and got bonus. Now after 8 months I want to cancel the credit card. They are not allowing me to cancel the card & asking me to do the cash back refund. Cashback I received as part of my spending criteria & it was not a joining bonus. There was no mention of any term of keeping the credit card for 1 year. Customer retention team is very rude. Mr. Faizal does not know how to talk to the customer. I am a real victim of this bank. Very disappointed. Do not ever take any product from this bank.This is a big mistake why I trusted this bank. I do not want to give any rating, but unfortunately there was no option here.

I’m literally writing now from the petrol station and I can’t pay because my card has been blocked for no reason, on 23rd of August I received a message that I updated my kyc however today My car was blocked again at 05:04 pm, I called a lady called Muniba to assist me to unblock the card at least temporarily, begging her that I’m stuck in the petrol station and I can’t pay, she said I can’t do anything for you now, only tomorrow after 9 am, I said to her that I can’t wait till 9 am in the petrol station and asked to speak with someone senior or a manager to help me in this situation, but she said that she doesn’t have the option of transferring the calls. I don’t know what to say it’s just ridiculous, worst customer services.I’m writing now and waiting for my friend to leave his house at a very late hour to come to pay for my petrol!!!!!!!!

Actually am not a CBD customer but i've contacted the call center for inquiry of opening account and asking about credit cards, this was my first time that someone helped me in every step in mobile application and website which make it easily to me as i spoke before with same bank call center and they weren't helpful that much. So i hope that my positive review can reach the agent i believe her name is sara brakat.
