I was able to within 30 minutes book a video call with an actual vet at 9pm on a Friday. There were appointments even into the 10pm range which is incredible especially in an emergency. The dr. was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions plus told me extra information that was very useful and reassuring. She was able to guide me through the next steps to take, some of the potential outcomes and many other things. This app honestly made it very easy to tell them what was going on, send a video and then get on a video call with an actual vet. She was very friendly and I wish she was my actual vet. If you want instant access to a vet if something happens especially unexpectedly, this gives you an opportunity to talk with a professional and get a professional opinion.

I’ve been using Nationwide pet insurance since my cats were kittens and they were VPI. I have one cat who has been sick since she was a few months old and it’s been a blessing having pet insurance. Because she was diagnosed after we already had insurance, they’ve covered all of her medical needs since then: IBD, hyper (now hypo) thyroidism, and just last week she was diagnosed with possible lymphoma. Nationwide has been there for us the entire time and this 24-7 televet app is just amazing. It’s included (common extra charge) as part of her insurance plan and they’re so kind and helpful. A few years ago, we had an issue where one of that cats may have accidentally ingested part of an advil liquigel and the vet helpline called poison control for me so that when we went to the ER, it saved me an extra charge and the ED. ER vet was able to talk to Vethelpine right away and give her the proper dose of antidote. This new app is great because now the vet can see the animal, too. That makes it easier for them to diagnose. I’m beyond grateful for the excellent customer and pet care my family receives from Nationwide. I tell everyone that they’re the best pet insurance company out there. This app is an asset to an already amazing service.

I was concerned about my Maine coon cat who had been very very lethargic yesterday and was vomiting. He has long hair and I thought that it might be due to hairballs in his system,so I called and talked to the vet on Online. It was a great experience because Using the video call, i was able to show the vet the cat and his behavior. We talked for about 10 to 15 minutes about the cat and she watched him carefully. She did give me several recommendations which I will follow, and had them sent through the Internet. It was a great experience, and I like to thank Nationwide for providing the service .

I can’t say enough about this insurance. I wish every company operated as they do. The doctor was super friendly and knowledgeable. They speak as if they are my next door neighbor and always as caring. We just lost our 6 yr old Shepard a month ago and every person I spoke with was the best and the claim for all her final bills were paid immediately. The next day. You can’t beat this company!! I will never leave them as long as I own a pet. Thank you for the caring doctor tonight and every person I’ve ever dealt with here.
