The UniFi Access mobile app is a convenient, comprehensive management tool that allows you and other administrators to oversee every aspect of your Access system, including connected doors, user rosters, reader devices, access cards, and security policies. With the app, you can also view real-time access event logs to maintain full vantage of visitor and employee traffic throughout your workspace. [Doorbell] Receive a push notification when someone rings a connected doorbell. [Remote View] Greet visitors remotely with the UA Pro, then grant them access remotely. [Devices] Add new Access devices and configure a variety of settings, including greeting messages, broadcast names, digital keypad layout, volume, and display brightness. [Doors] Manage individual doors or group them to instantly make sweeping security alterations on the fly. You can also apply door and floor-specific access policies for enhanced building security. [Users] Add, edit, and remove users with ease. You can also assign individual and group-level access methods, such as PIN codes or UA Cards. Customer Update: Per instructions from UniFi tech support, I disabled my iWatch bell and the bell on my iPhone rings now. Thank you tech support.Original Comment:There are two issues with this unit. 1. The bell kit does not come for surface mounting electrical box. You have to cut into your masonry wall or your siding when you surface mount it. I bought a standard bulky electrical box from Home Depot and cut a circle on the face plate in order to make it work. 2. UniFi Access app will works intermittently. Sometimes you receive no notifications when someone rings the bell. When you do receive it, it is text notification. I have rarely received audio notification on my phone. As a result, our gusts and deliveries leave when they are ignored. I have contacted the tech support which is one the worse in the industry. They take your phone number online to call you back but they never do. Instead, they email you with questions about the issue even though you have clearly explained it in your initial emails. After you explained again, they email you back with more questions, some of which you have already answered in your previous emails. I am planing to return my devices if I do not get a solution soon.

Sorry for the problematic experience.For the mounting electric box, we provide a face plate for the standard one gang electric box, you can contact us via email with your shipping address, contact information, and the device's type and MAC address so we can send you one.Regarding the notification issue, would you mind contacting us again using the email: ua.support@ui.com?We will check your ticket history and hopefully be able to see what's the cause of this issue.

We use a UniFi system to protect our shop, we have cameras and access control, our whole system is controlled by UniFi software, it is highly customizable and user friendly, you can set it to keep everything locked until the first person with authorization gains access, it has scheduling options, permission options, it can pair cameras with doors and locations. The one thing I wish for that it does not have is the ability to unlock all doors, or a selection of doors on first person entry, but for now “first person entry” only unlocks the door that is accessed.

This app has a tremendous amount of features out the gate, and the issues it has are being quickly resolved. It was silly that the notifications didn’t make a sound when someone presses the doorbell, now it at least makes a single chime; however, it REALLY needs to make a longer sounds like Ring Doorbell. Other than the aforementioned doorbell issues, this app has everything you need.Oh, you can’t leave it running in the background too long, or it stops working and you have to force quit it. Now that I think about it, this is kinda a big deal. Making me really consider taking this four-star review down to three-star, but I’m hopeful Ubiquity will remedy the situation soon.

It was silly that the notifications didn’t make a sound when someone presses the doorbell, now it at least makes a single chime; however, it REALLY needs to make a longer sounds like Ring Doorbell. Other than the aforementioned doorbell issues, this app has everything you need.Oh, you can’t leave it running in the background too long, or it stops working and you have to force quit it. Now that I think about it, this is kinda a big deal. Making me really consider taking this four-star review down to three-star, but I’m hopeful Ubiquity will remedy the situation soon.

Other than that, it works fantastic. All of the features that I know about and use work fantastic. I love when you could put the phone near the system and it will unlock the door. You can also issue key cards, but be sure that you identify what key card belongs to the individual.
