Clean, fast and quality app

The app does exactly what it promises, provides an on-ramp for AUD fiat to buy crypto and use their debit card to earn crypto rewards. The app is smartly designed, is bug free and very simple to navigate. I found transferring AUD fiat to the card easy, literally like any other bank transfer with the funds available instantly. 5/5 - highly recommend

Was a decent app, now a decent disappointment…

Originally I got this app for the rewards program which has since been discontinued.I also noticed over time that despite stating in multiple places they don’t charge any hidden fees, they manage to make up for this claim by changing the value that crypto is worth so we receive less then the actual value when selling, and pay more then the actual value when buying. On top of that, I have never once had a good time with logging in. I signed up with apple, and I cannot Sign in with Apple. I press the, “sign in with apple” button, but when I complete that process the app just says, “an account with this email/client ID already exists. Please try another login method”. So I try to sign in with just my email and click the forgot password button (since I don’t have a password because I made the account using the apple login), and despite stating on the previous page that my email is already in their systems, it states, “This email/client ID isn’t found. Please create an account”. TL;DR So not only has the rewards program which was the only real incentive to use this app been removed, but they steal your money probably legally, and without you knowing, and they haven’t even got a well designed app.

The app works well and is intuitive enough. However, deposits typically take two days and on my last occasion, after I received the message informing me that Wayex had received my funds, I logged in only to find a zero balance. Customer service was dreadful, offering absolutely NO effort or information. There was no reassurance on my lost funds and after 3 banal responses in 30 minutes, I was told someone will be in touch. Of all the platforms I use it’s the one I trust the least. Again, the app isn’t bad, although it is under maintenance far more often than other platforms. Difficulties arise with all agencies, but when they happen with Wayex it’s more of a worry. My worst experience since Celsius. It’s not really worth it.
